Facilities

• Since 2006, every new campus building has been constructed to meet the standards of the U.S. Green Building Council for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), demonstrating UNF’s commitment to the environment. The campus is nestled among 1,381 acres of trees, trails and lakes.
  
   
• The College of Education and Human Services moved into a new building that is the first on campus to achieve the LEED Gold rating, the second-highest awarded.
  
   
• Osprey Fountains houses 1,000 students in a new campus complex that includes a swimming pool, game rooms and fitness center.
  
   
• The new Student Union has become the hub of student activities, providing a base for all Student Government-related functions as well as restaurants, student lounges and game rooms.
  
   
• A new Science and Humanities building will become home of the Coastal Biology Flagship Program when it opens in 2012.
