International Studies at UNF is an academic program and the center of an interdisciplinary community of faculty, staff, students and alumni. The International Studies Program promotes campus-wide dialogue about the economic, environmental, cultural, political and technological forces that shape today's world. The Program offers a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies, with six regional and thematic concentrations, as well as a minor. Each semester, International Studies also coordinates an interdisciplinary Lecture Series, as well as International Mondays, a program of informal conversations on contemporary topics conducted in a variety of languages. Faculty from a wide range of academic areas teach in the program, and a diverse team of faculty and staff work together to advise students on academic matters, study abroad opportunities, internships, graduate programs and professional directions. The program is directed by Clayton McCarl, associate professor of Spanish, in consultation with an advisory committee comprised of faculty and staff from across the University.
