"Writing on Water / Writing on Air" Installation - September 29 through October 18 

 

A new "Writing on Water/Writing on Air" poetry installation, by Dr. Clark Lunberry, associate English professor, can be seen at  Building 12, Thomas G. Carpenter Library, on the library's adjacent pond, on its stairway windows and in the library's restrooms.

This installation will be up until Saturday, Oct. 18.

Marta Werner Lecture on Emily Dickinson's "Envelope Poems" - October 2

 

Dr. Marta Werner, co-editor of The Gorgeous Nothings: Emily Dickinson's Envelope Poems, will give a public lecture and meet with students on Thurs., Oct. 2, 7:30 pm, in the UNF Art Gallery (2/1001).  This event is free.

Melissa Broder Reading - October 10

 

Poet Melissa Broder will be visiting the UNF campus on Friday, October 10 at 7PM. She will read from her book Scarecrone, answer questions, and sign books.
               
The reading will take place in the Student Union West Ballroom, which is on the third floor of that building.  The English Department will provide refreshments. The UNF Bookstore will be on hand to sell books.
