Alexander Diaz is a photo-based artist who merges aspects of documentary photography and conceptual art. Diaz’s work investigates issues concerning the natural environment, consumerism, identity, and place. Diaz earned his BA in photography from the University of North Florida and M.F.A. in photography from the University of Florida. He has taught Digital, Color, and Black and White Photography at the University of North Florida since 2006.
