Admissions Process & Visas

Admissions

Each Ibero-AmericanMBA university selects a small group of students to participate in the Ibero-AmericanMBA program. Each institution conducts its own selection process. In order to participate, students must have earned an undergraduate degree prior to beginning the Ibero-AmericanMBA program. Students must also meet admission requirements, which include earning a minimum score of 500 on the GMAT examination or a minimum of 150 verbal and minimum 150 quantitative on the GRE examination (Note: Due to the re-scoring of the GRE in 2011, these GRE admissions requirements are valid for spring 2012- spring 2013 admissions) and having completed the equivalent of an undergraduate, introductory course in each of the following seven areas: business law, financial accounting, corporate finance, macroeconomics, microeconomics, management, and marketing. Students must have proficiency in both English and Spanish.

Students from Europe should apply for admissions through Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in Spain. Students from South American should apply for admissions through Instituto Universitario ESEADE in Argentina. Students from Central and North America should apply through the University of North Florida in the United States.

Each Ibero–AmericanMBA student pays tuition and fees only at his or her home institution (i.e. the consortium institution where the student is accepted) throughout the program. There is one exception — all students pay an Ibero–AmericanMBA fee, which UNF collects on behalf of all three universities. This fee offsets the programmatic and administrative costs.
