| Summary: |
This course is focused on the wine industry in Central Spain and provides a hands-on application of economic principles to the global wine market. The class will visit with university faculty, wine producers, vineyard owners, and corporate executives to learn about the wine production process, recent production innovations, and sustainable viticulture practices. Students will engage with wine experts in a variety of settings including academic and business facilities, vineyards, wineries, and wine production plants. This course will also include visits to important historical and cultural sites in Barcelona, Madrid, and Toledo. |
