Coggin in Paris

Summary: This 7-credit program allows students to study European business culture and management, marketing, and/or finance focusing on the realities do doing business in Europe. The program is structured into different modules: European Marketing, European Management, and French Cultural Studies, with classes meeting four days per week (Monday – Thursday from 9:30 – 12:30 and 2 – 5 pm). This class structure provides students with 3-day weekends to travel and get to know Paris, France, and Europe. All classes are taught by European faculty in English.
 
Dr. Jeffrey Michelman, Director of the Flagship Program in International Business and professor of Accounting, will be the UNF faculty liaison for Coggin in Paris. Dr. Michelman has extensive experience in France and has led Coggin study abroad programs since early 2000. He will meet with the students several times prior to departure to review etiquette, culture, and travel preparation. In May, Dr. Michelman will also fly with the students to France and assist them with exploring Paris for their first few days.

$3,200 (plus the cost of 7 hours UNF tuition)

1st Payment: $500 due by November 1, 2011
2nd Payment: $2,500 due by February 1, 2012

    Double Discount! If you are interested in pairing a Summer A & B program, you can earn more academic credit, stay abroad longer, and receive a discounted price for the second program (approximately $1,000 off)! There are two weeks in between Summer A and B, and all additional travel, insurance, and living expenses are the responsibility of the student. Ask your Coggin Study Abroad Advisor for more details.
