Coggin Short–Term Application Process

FACULTY-LED Spring 2015 Courses:
Applications for spring 2015 programs will be accepted from September 2 until November 1 or until a course is full - whichever comes first! Complete applications must be turned into the Coggin Study Abroad Office (Bldg. 10, Rm 2125).  A complete application includes: 

  1. Faculty-Led Application Form [pdf] 
  2. Faculty-Led Policies Form [pdf]
  3. Credits Form (see below)
  • Passport: Bring proof of passport application & submission receipt OR your valid passport to the Coggin Study Abroad Office (Bldg. 10, Rm 2125) by November 1 for scanning. Please plan ahead! Passport processing may take several weeks. Remember, your passport must be valid for at least 6 months after the return date of your study abroad program.
  • Pay the Program Fee:  Make the first and second payments. Once your application is submitted, and you have been approved through your interview (if required), the short-term study abroad program fee will be posted to your UNF account in myWings. The first payment of $500 is due by November 1. The second payment for the remainder of the program fee is due by February 1. Remember, all payments are nonrefundable and expected to be paid by the stated deadlines. Students will receive a hold if payments are not received by the deadlines, regardless of whether financial aid has been disbursed. "COGGIN IN" Summer 2015 Programs:
Applications for summer 2015 "Coggin In" programs will be accepted from September 2 until January 23 or until a program fills - whichever comes first! Applications received before December 5, 2014 qualify for the Early Osprey Discount of $200. All "Coggin In" participants must attend a meeting on Friday, January 30 in addition to all other pre-departure meetings.

Credits Form: Meet with your Academic Advisor.   

Print and bring the Credits Form for your chosen program to your academic advising meeting. Advisors will work with you to determine possible uses for the short-term study abroad credits. This form assures you that credits earned during short-term study abroad programs will count toward your degree.  Credits forms will be available beginning September 2.
