We are glad that you have decided to participate in a Coggin College of Business short-term study abroad program. If you have questions, please contact Coggin Study Abroad Advisor Caitlin Jaeger | (904) 620-2919. Application materials will be accepted from August 27 to November 1 or until a course is full - whichever comes first! UPDATE: All 2013 short-term program have filled. Check back in August 2013 for the 2014 short-term program details.
Complete applications must be turned into the Coggin Study Abroad Office (Bldg 42, Rm 2125). A complete application includes:
Credits Form: Meet with your Academic Advisor.
Print and bring the Credits Form for your chosen program to your advising meeting. Advisors will work with you to determine possible uses for the short-term study abroad credits. This form assures you that credits earned during short-term study abroad course(s) will count toward your degree. Coggin Academic Advisors are located in the Student Services Office in Bldg 42, Rm 2021. Credits forms will be available starting August 27.
Passport: Bring your actual passport or proof of passport application to the Coggin Study Abroad Office (Bldg. 10, Rm 2125) by November 1 for scanning.
Please plan ahead! Passport processing may take several weeks. Remember, your passport must be valid for at least 6 months after the return date of your study abroad program. If circumstances prevent you from receiving your passport by November 1, notify Coggin Study Abroad immediately.
Pay the Program Fee: Make the first and second payments.
Once your application is submitted, and your interview is complete (if required), the short-term study abroad program fee will be posted to your UNF account in myWings. The first payment of $500 is due by November 1. The second payment for the remainder of the program fee is due by February 1. Remember, all payments are nonrefundable. Students will receive a hold if payments are not received by the stated deadlines. UPDATE: Any students signing up for the 2013 summer Coggin In programs after December 1 will have the full program fee applied to their account for one payment due on February 1.
