Coggin Short–Term Application Process

We are glad that you have decided to participate in a Coggin College of Business short-term study abroad program. If you have questions, please contact Coggin Study Abroad Advisor Caitlin Jaeger | (904) 620-2919.  

Currently the application period for short-term study abroad programs is closed. Please check back in late August 2014 for information on applying for a 2015 short-term study abroad program. 

 

 

FACULTY-LED Spring 2014 Courses:
Applications for spring 2014 programs will be accepted from September 3 until November 1 or until a course is full - whichever comes first! Complete applications must be turned into the Coggin Study Abroad Office (Bldg. 10, Rm 2125).  A complete application includes: 

  1.  Faculty-Led Application Form [pdf] - All spring 2014 faculty-led programs are now full.
  2. Faculty-Led Policies Form [pdf] - All spring 2014 faculty-led programs are now full. 
  3. Credits Form (see below)
  • Passport: Bring your actual passport or proof of passport application & submission receipt to the Coggin Study Abroad Office (Bldg. 10, Rm 2125) by November 1 for scanning. Please plan ahead! Passport processing may take several weeks. Remember, your passport must be valid for at least 6 months after the return date of your study abroad program.
  • Pay the Program Fee:  Make the first and second payments. Once your application is submitted, and you have been approved through your interview (if required), the short-term study abroad program fee will be posted to your UNF account in myWings. The first payment of $500 is due by November 1. The second payment for the remainder of the program fee is due by February 1. Remember, all payments are nonrefundable and expected to be paid by the stated deadlines. Students will receive a hold if payments are not received by the deadlines, regardless of whether financial aid has been disbursed. "COGGIN IN" Summer 2014 Programs:
Applications for summer 2014 "Coggin In" programs will be accepted from September 3 until January 17 or until a program fills - whichever comes first! All "Coggin In" participants must attend a meeting on Friday, January 24 in addition to all other pre-departure meetings.

 

Since the initial payment deadline for Coggin In summer 2014 programs has passed, students turning in applications and approved via interview for a program after December 5 will have 1 charge placed on their accounts in the spring semester to be paid by February 1.

Credits Form: Meet with your Academic Advisor.   

Print and bring the Credits Form for your chosen program to your academic advising meeting. Advisors will work with you to determine possible uses for the short-term study abroad credits. This form assures you that credits earned during short-term study abroad programs will count toward your degree.
