Summary: Students will study Turkey’s business practices, with a particular emphasis on finance. During this course, the students will learn about the culture, geography, history, and politics of Turkey. The class will study the differences between business in the US and in Turkey and discuss the current issues facing the nation. The course will have three phases: pre-trip preparation, foreign travel, and post-trip assignments.
Prerequisites: FIN 5405: Essentials of Managerial Finance
Subject: This program will be cross-listed as Finance and Accounting.  Students may register for either FIN 6957 or ACG 6957.  This course may be used as an elective in the General Business MBA or as part of the Finance, Accounting or International Business concentration.  See your Academic Advisor for details/additional uses.

Cost:

$2,900* (plus the cost of 3 hours UNF spring 2011 tuition)
1st Payment: $500 due by November 1, 2011
2nd Payment: $2,400* due by February 1, 2012

 

*Program cost significantly reduced by a donation from the Amity Turkish Cultural Center; includes airfare, lodging, local transportation, tours, attraction tickets, breakfast, and occasional dinners
