Accommodations
URJC has not yet built its residence halls. Students may find accommodation in shared flats with prices ranging from 180 to 270 Euro, and a single room in a private flat with shared cooking facilities for about 180 Euro, full board 450 Euro. URJC may help in finding lodging, but early notice is needed concerning special conditions of each student (sex, arrival day, length of stay, particular wishes about board, economic restrictions, etc.). This information must be received as soon as possible, at least 3 months before arrival.
Academic Calendar
The fall semester runs from September to December; the spring semester runs from January to May. The intensive Spanish language course takes place two weeks before each semester begins. See URJC's academic calendar for more details.
Spanish Language Courses
URJC offers a two-credit, two-week intensive Spanish language program before each semester begins at no additional cost. Students may also take a year-long Spanish language course, if available.
Visa & Health Insurance Information
Students are required to individually obtain the necessary visa for study abroad prior to departure. Most semester programs are more than 90 days. Students should visit the U.S. Department of State webpage which links to each country's Embassy. Many visa applications must be made in person — please plan ahead! For additional visa information and to discuss UNF's requirement for health insurance coverage, please visit UNF's International Center (Building 58E, Room 2300).
