The DUASA student union’s (“Studentenwerk”) 15 student housing facilities can accommodate up to 2,671 students in apartments or single rooms. These accommodations are not only low rent, but also facilitate a broad range of social contacts and leisure time activities—all of which make studying easier while giving students a rich social experience. All student housing facilities are located close to campus. A number of houses are equipped with handicapped accessible rooms and apartments.
The fall (or "winter") semester runs from early September to late February. The spring (or "summer") semester runs from early March to August. Courses in English are only offered during the spring semester. View DUASA's winter 2013 academic calendar [pdf].
German Language Courses
German language courses are offered upon request during the fall and spring semesters.
