Alpha Sigma Pi is a professional organization dedicated to the promotion and stimulation of greater interest in the profession of accountancy and to the encouragement of high scholarship and proficiency. The club sponsors numerous activities designed to strengthen relationships among students, faculty, and members of the business community. These activities include a social every term, various speakers, and an awards banquet twice during the academic year. Outstanding students and faculty chosen by Alpha Sigma Pi are recognized at the banquet. Membership is open to all students, faculty, and alumni.
Have you ever wondered why certain companies choose certain products over others? Or how the display of a shelf can have an influence over a consumer? Or maybe have an interest in sports marketing, fashion marketing, viral marketing, or brand loyalty? Then this club may be for you. The UNF AMA is open to anyone who is interested in this subject matter. The purpose of the UNF AMA is to promote a better understanding and use of marketing principles and concepts by providing real opportunities for members to be involved with current marketing trends and traditions. These goals shall be achieved through encouraging members to participate with marketing seminars, marketing projects, attend meetings to hear guest speakers, and enter marketing contests.
APICS-UNF Student Chapter (The Association for Operations Management at the University of North Florida), in partnership with the APICS Jacksonville chapter and the International organization of APICS, strives to promote, foster and encourage student interest in the field of operations management.We enrich student membership through networking opportunities and shared professional experiences for personal & professional growth and serve the University, the Coggin College of Business and the global economy where possible.
BEST ALLIANCE is a financial wellness club. It is a student led alliance that strives to build awareness on financial stability for students of the On Campus Transition Program while in school that create healthy financial habits that will continue after their time in the program. BEST Alliance members serve as financial mentors to students of the On Campus Transition Program and provide workshops to On Campus Transition Program. BEST Alliance sole mission is to build awareness to the importance of being financially healthy college students. BEST Alliance provides the knowledge needed for the financial stability of students at UNF while also creating an inclusive community of practice.
Delta Sigma Pi is a professional fraternity organized to foster the study of business in universities; to encourage scholarship, social activity and the association of students for their mutual advancement by research and practice; to promote closer affiliation between the commercial world and students of commerce, and to further a higher standard of commercial ethics and culture and the civic and commercial welfare of the community.Here at UNF, our chapter is committed to making the students of the Coggin College of Business more professional, more knowledgeable and thus more successful. We recruit at the beginning of both fall and spring semesters. We look for qualified individuals who go above and beyond the expected and will increase the strength of our brotherhood.
The purpose of the Economics Society at UNF is to further the interests of the UNF student about the field of economics. Through professional speakers, events and open forums we hope to enhance the knowledge of economic factors in the local, national and global economy. The Economics Society is open to all UNF students and is a great way to get involved on campus and within the community.
The Entrepreneur Society is here to bring the entrepreneurial minds of the University of North Florida together to collaborate and expand their minds on the topic of entrepreneurship. The Entrepreneur Society strives to serve students by providing networking activities with Jacksonville's entrepreneurs and through national collegiate conferences.
The Finance and Investment Society is open to all students interested in acquiring knowledge about banking, finance, and investment topics. The society offers many activities during the year including socials with the business community, various speakers, and an annual banquet. The Society sponsors the Updown.com Portfolio Trading Challenge and provides awards for the best student performers. FIS is among the top 5% of university finance clubs around the country according to the Financial Management Association (FMA). Each year, students are selected to attend the annual FMA Leaders’ Conference held in cities like Chicago, Denver, Washington DC, and New York. UNF FIS won the 2010 FMA Leaders’ Quiz Bowl. Students are automatically made members of the FMA and Association for Financial Professionals with FIS membership. Students from all disciplines are strongly encouraged to become active members of the Finance and Investment Society.
The purpose of the UNF Geography club is to educate, stimulate interest, and get hands on experience with subjects and activities related to all aspects of geography. We have members studying a diverse set of majors including economics, music education, political science, and Information Science. Geography is about the study of where things happen and how that location affects the outcome, Anything that happens somewhere - which is everything - can be studied under the umbrella of geography. As a club we are looking into visiting state and national parks, receiving presentations from economic geographers, sailing, and even a trip abroad.

Rotaract is a Rotary-sponsored service club for young men and women. Rotaract clubs are either community or university based, and they’re sponsored by a local Rotary club. Our sponsor is Oceanside Rotary. This makes us true "partners in service" and key members of the family of Rotary. Rotaries exist all over in the world in 163 countries and geographical areas. We are always looking for the club to grow and continue to do important and exciting projects for the local and international community. We are now a Coggin College of Business Club, but that does not exclude non-business majors from joining.
The University of North Florida Student Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) is a professional organization open to students who are interested in the human resources field. The organization is designed to promote a closer affiliation between the business community and students. The objectives of the organization are to keep students up to date on new developments in the field of human resources management, to acquaint students to the human resources field, and to develop a nucleus of truly professional human administrators for the future. Student membership is open to students of at least sophomore standing. Full-time or part-time students are welcomed.Students may be enrolled in either the undergraduate program or the graduate programs at the University of North Florida. The purpose of the Transportation & Logistics Society (TLS) is to promote, foster and encourage student interest in the field of transportation & logistics. TLS strives to accomplish this purpose by creating a relationship network for UNF transportation & logistics majors, promoting the growth of the program at UNF and enhancing members’ skills through shared professional experiences. fostering personal & professional growth among members, and by serving The University, the Coggin College of Business the logistics community of Jacksonville, and where possible, the nation. The Transportation & Logistics Society was voted UNF’s Club of the Year in 2003, 2008 and 2009 amongst 170 student organizations.
The mission of the Women in Business Society (WBS) is to support women in efforts to pursue higher levels of educational and professional achievement through networking resources, exposure to career opportunities and successful business women in the Jacksonville community. Membership is not restricted to women; anyone who is interested in supporting our mission is welcome. The goals of WBS are: alumni achievement, development of female leaders, and the cultivation of an environment of continuing growth and excellence The Women in Business Society was voted UNF's 2012 Club of the Year out of 170 other student organizations. WBS is about building traditions, creating memories, and establishing relationships with peers and Jacksonville employers. The Osprey Financial Group is a student managed investment fund. The program, a two-semester commitment that counts as six elective credits, enables a select group of undergraduate finance and MBA students to manage a real portfolio as a professional investment firm. The real-world asset management experience begins with application and interviews to select 10 students for each academic year. The chosen students are administratively organized with officer positions and responsibilities. Teams analyze and present reports to aid in buy/sell decision making. There are sector analyst, economic, fixed-income, and technical analysis teams that all aid in the decision making process. OFG won the 2010 CFA Florida Investment Research Challenge.

Comprised of the senior leaders from all Coggin College student organizations, the Student Leadership Advisory Board (SLAB) is a service group within the Coggin College of Business. SLAB serves all Coggin College student organizations and provides a centralized forum for training and idea sharing among the student club leaders with a goal of supporting the mission of the Coggin College. They also play a crucial role in promoting the Coggin College of Business to both the University at large as well as the greater Jacksonville business community. Members of SLAB have the opportunity to contribute to the community through volunteering, to network with local business professionals, and to assist the Dean's Office with various special events.

Beta Gamma Sigma is the national scholastic honor society in the field of business administration. Membership is limited to outstanding graduates of colleges accredited by the American Assembly of Collegiate Schools of Business. It is the highest academic honor that a student in business or management can obtain.Objectives:
The FMA National Honor Society recognizes and rewards scholastic achievement and is the only international honorary specifically for students of finance. It is one of the highest academic honors that a student in finance can obtain.
