Robert Chassman

Professor of the Day – Department of Economics & Geography

 
Bob Chassman is a vice president and senior strategist in the Commercial Banking Group of Wells Fargo. In his role, he partners with over 40 commercial banking managers and business development officers to position the bank as a strategic partner to its middle market prospects and customers. Mr. Chassman creates customized industry research and financial analysis to assist bankers in driving strategic dialogue regarding industry trends, corporate strategy and financial goals.

 
Previously, Mr. Chassman was an investment banker with Allen C. Ewing & Co. where he co-held and managed transactions involving the merger of community banks with regional banks. He also was a senior analyst at Bombardier Capital and Florida Rock Industries. He has served on panels and presented on future bank mergers and regulatory, financial and legal issues facing the banking industry.

 
Mr. Chassman is an ex-officio member of the University of North Florida Foundation Board and currently serves as president of the UNF Alumni Association. He earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida and holds an MBA from the University of North Florida.
