The School of Computing Lab is open to all UNF students, but the installed software is tailored for software development. A lab assistant is on duty to answer basic questions and assist with Pay-4-Print. We also offer tutoring services for most programming languages. The installed software includes Eclipse, Microsoft Visual Studio 2010, Microsoft SQL Tools, Netbeans, Oracle Client, SSH, Putty, MyITLab, SimUaid, LogicAid, Mozilla, Chrome, Matlab2012a, Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer, WebDrive, Orcad Lite, CodeBlocks, PowerDVD, JGrasp, Notepad++, Quicktime, Real Player, LanSchool and Microsoft Office 2010 Professional.

The Data Engineering Lab is highly configurable based on the needs of the students and instructor. It offers flexible display options with both an LCD projector and a wall-mounted LCD. The installed software includes Oracle SQL Plus, Oracle Enterprise Manager, Erwin, SSH, Mozilla, Adobe Reader, Microsoft Office 2010, Microsoft Visual Studios 2010, Microsoft SQL Management Studio, Netbeans, and WebDrive

The Data Engineering Lab is highly configurable based on the needs of the students and instructor. It offers flexible display options with both an LCD projector and a wall-mounted LCD. The iMacs run a campus standard client with some custom software installed (including Unity 3d to support our Game Development Program).
Bio / Health Informatics Lab
Location: Building 15 Room 3120
Equipment: 15 Dell Optiplex 780
This space is currently used for faculty led practicum using software similar to the SOC Computer Lab. This space will be growing to approximately 20 computers and student capacity.

The Student Research Lab is a special-purpose lab that focuses on student research. Graduate and advanced Undergraduate research is supported.

Equipment: 20 Dell Optiplex 745 & 3 Dell Poweredge servers
The Network Communications Lab is used by Drs. Sanjay Ahuja, and Zorinitza Prodanoff for analysis and design of communications protocols and design while the Robotics Lab is used by Dr. Charles Winton (faculty emeritus) and Dr. Chuan Ching-Hua and is used for instruction and research surrounding the Botball program. More information on Botball can be found at www.botball.org. The desktop and servers in this room are on a private isolated network and use CentOS and Ubuntu Linux. Some of the tools used are WireShark and Opnet.
