Lifeguard Instructor Certification
The purpose of the American Red Cross Lifeguarding Instructor Course is to train instructor candidates to teach: basic-level lifeguarding, waterfront lifeguarding, waterpark lifeguarding & shallow water attendant (all including first aid), lifeguard management, CPR/AED for the professional rescuer, administering emergency oxygen, bloodborne pathogens training: PDT, and basic water rescuer courses. Instructors will be prepared to use course and presentation materials, conduct training sessions and evaluate the progress of candidates in a professional-level course. For ages 17 & up.
