Private Swim Lessons
Private lessons are now available for all ages and skills levels. Instruction is customized to meet each participant's needs. Private lessons are ideal for persons who require more flexibility in their lesson schedule. They are also helpful for persons with special needs or for those wishing to supplement their group instruction. Arrangements for private lessons must be done on the Aquatic Center website only. Patrons must contact instructors directly via e-mail to schedule private lessons.
Fees
Daily Fee 30-Minutes / $30
45-Minutes / $45
Multi-Pass $90 / Includes: 3 lessons for 30 minutes & 2 daily swims ($10 value)
or $90 / Includes: 2 lessons for 45 minutes & 2 daily swims ($10 value)

NON-SOLICITATION:
It is not acceptable to solicit UNF Aquatic Center swim instructors or staff members for swim instruction or other aquatic employment away from the UNF Aquatic Center.
Any solicitation will be reported to university officials.

Jessica
Certified Lifeguard and Water Safety Instructor for 4 years; swam competitively for 11 years, and enjoys working with any age level! Here until June 22nd, but will be back in August!

Dee Dee is a Red Cross certified swimming instructor who enjoys working with children and adults. She swam competitively and is experienced with both group and individulized instruction. She has taught swimming at the UNF Aquatic Center, Camp Kenzie and private swimming lessons in our community. Dee Dee is a teacher in the Duval County Public School system. She is also an adjunct professor at UNF College of Education and Human Services.

Desiree specializes in teaching swim lessons to students with cognitive, developmental or physical special needs. Holding a Master’s degree in Special Education with a track in Autism, Desiree is a certified special education teacher. Desiree teaches developmentally appropriate swim lessons and aquatic safety skills to fit most mild to moderate disabilities. Skills taught are individualized to best meet the needs of the students based off his/her abilities and experience. Students progress at their own pace.
