Osprey Productions at the University of North Florida, in conjunction with MTV, presents the MTV Campus Invasion Tour at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, at the UNF Student Union Coxwell Amphitheater in the biggest concert ever to hit the campus. R&B artists Jay Sean and Jason Derulo will be performing live with DJ Diamond Kuts , Chiddy Bang and We the Kings. Gates will open at 4 p.m.

MTV provides the Campus Invasion Tour to only four universities each year and will film the entire concert to be rebroadcast at its conclusion on its MTV television stations and streaming video on its website. MTV will also have a Sponsorship Village, where concert attendees will be able to get free items.

Sean was selected as the 2011 “Best Male Act” and 2011 “Best Video” for his song “2012 (It Ain’t the End)” by the United Kingdom Asian Music Awards. His 2009 American debut single, “Down,” featuring Lil Wayne, topped the “Billboard Hot 100,” followed by several hit songs, including “Do You Remember” and “Hit the Lights.”

Derulo was selected as 2011 “Songwriter of the Year” for “In My Head,” “Ridin’ Solo,” “Watcha Say” and “Replay” by the Broadcast Music Incorporated (BMI) Pop Music Awards. He also won the 2011 “50 Most Performed Songs of the Year” BMI Award for his song, “Replay.”

We the Kings is a pop-punk band formed in 2000 from Bradenton, Fla., and is currently signed to the record label S-Curve Records. The group released their self-titled full-length debut album in 2007. Since this time, the band has since completed a variety of tours and released a new album this summer titled “Sunshine State of Mind.” We the Kings also host its own miniature series of Webisodes, “The King’s Carriage,” detailing life on their tour bus.

Chiddy Bang is an American alternative hip-hop band from Philadelphia, Pa. The group consists of Chidera “Chiddy” Anamege and Noah “Xaphoon Jones” Beresin. The hip-hop duo’s debut mix tape was titled “The Swelly Express,” while their debut studio album “Breakfast” was released this summer.

DJ Diamond Kuts is pioneering her way through the music industry. Not only is she the first and only female mixer to have a slot on Philadelphia radio, she continues to create immense professional success through television shows, print and digital advertisement as well as touring with headlining artists like Chris Brown and Young Money’s Nicki Minaj. She is the official DJ for three radio slots, including Philly’s No. 1 morning show on Power 99 and has recently been added to BET’s new Hip-Hop show, “The Deal.” Additionally, she has been featured in the Source, XXL and Hype Hair magazines.
