Annual Excellence in Employee Development Awards Call for Nominations

The University of North Florida’s Division of Continuing Education, in partnership with the American Society for Training & Development and the Society for Human Resource Management, announce the call for nominations for the 10th Annual Excellence in Employee Development Awards. There is no fee to submit a nomination.
Don’t miss the opportunity to recognize companies, organizations, departments, teams and individuals whose outstanding achievements have significantly advanced workplace learning and performance.
The submission deadline is Friday, Nov. 12. The winners will be honored at the awards luncheon on Dec. 8. Additional information on UNF’s Excellence in Employee Development Awards, including complete details, writing tips and entry form, is available at

Teri Yanovitch, former Disney Institute seminar leader, will provide a keynote presentation titled, “Leadership: Ignite, Inspire, Retrain and Retain Your Employees
Ignite, Inspire, Retrain” at the December luncheon. As a keynote speaker and seminar leader at the Disney Institute, she shared the best practices of customer service developed by the Walt Disney Company with global organizations.
For more than a decade, Yanovitch also facilitated cultural change as an executive with the company that revolutionized total quality management, Philip Crosby Associates. She is the co-author of “Unleashing Excellence—The Complete Guide to Ultimate Customer Service and Retain or Retrain—How to Keep the Good Ones from Leaving.”
As an international speaker, trainer and consultant, her firm helps organizations create a culture of excellence by working with the leadership, processes and employees.
