UNF Hosts A Night of Masquerade Fall Ball

The Student Council for Exceptional Children (SCEC), a student organization at the University of North Florida, will host “A Night of Masquerade” fall ball at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 26, in the Robinson Student Life Center banquet complex.
This free event is designed for individuals with varying acquired, genetic and developmental disabilities. The dance is semi-formal and guests will have their choice of masquerade masks to dance the night away.
The SCEC’s mission is to enhance the lives of all individuals with exceptionalities throughout North Florida. The student organization has volunteered at numerous Jacksonville events such as the Very Special Arts, Rick Wilkins Annual Grand Slam Grill Out and Disability Awareness Day on the Green at UNF.
Sponsors for the fall ball include Brooks Rehabilitation, Winn-Dixie Stores, Walgreens, Wal-Mart, PostNet, Publix Super Market at the St. Johns Town Center, Chick-fil-A at the St. Johns Town Center, Firehouse Subs at the St. Johns Town Center and PartyLand on Kingsley Avenue.
