UNF Percussion Ensemble Performs 'Travels Through Time'

The University of North Florida Percussion Ensemble will perform “Travels Through Time” at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 19, in the Robinson Theatre on the UNF campus. The concert, directed by UNF percussion instructor Charlotte Mabrey and UNF music student Jason Ellerbee, is free and open to the public.

“Travels Through Time” will feature several percussion works for several instruments in various styles, ranging in time from one of the earliest works for percussion ensemble, "Toccata" by Carlos Chavez, to a brand new piece composed for timpani octet by Ellerbee. Two percussionists will also perform solo pieces for the marimba.
