County Fairs Persist, But Why?
The Greater Jacksonville Agricultural Fair is Oct. 15-26, yet Jacksonville is not known for agriculture. How do these county fairs continue in the face of urban growth? Dr. Krista Paulsen researches county fairs and can talk about their persistence in communities. To speak with Dr. Paulsen, contact the Office of News and Publications at (904) 620-2140.
