UNF Professor Looks at Jacksonville, Waldon Case
Dr. Terry Bowen, associate professor of Political Science and Public Administration, along with Dr. Henry Thomas, associate professor of Political Science and Public Administration, and Robin Edmonds, formerly with the Institute of Government, wrote "Murder, Mayhem and Public Opinion: Does Race Matter when the Bad Cops are Black," about Jacksonville and the Karl Waldon case. Corporate Donor to Give $1 Million to UNF
A major Jacksonville employer will announce a $1 million gift to the University of North Florida on Thursday, Jan. 30. The ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. in the Board of Trustees Room at the UNF University Center off Kernan Boulevard.The gift, which is the largest program gift in UNF history, will fund an ethics center at UNF. UNF Interim President David Kline and representatives of the firm will be present for media interviews following the announcement.
