Working Woman’s Art of War-March 13

The UNF Women’s Center will present its Women’s History Month Keynote Address with Chin-Ning Chu on March 13 at 7 p.m. in the Robinson Theatre. Chu will discuss her ties between ageless strategies of leadership and philosophy from the East with the modern strategies of the West for a win-win leadership theory. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the door. To reserve a seat call 620-2528.

Dominican Republic Ambassador-March 14

An international forum with His Excellency Ambassador Roberto B. Saladin Selin from the Embassy of the Dominican Republic in Washington, D.C. will be Thursday, March 14 at 3 p.m. in the College of Business, Stein Auditorium. The lecture is sponsored by the College of Business Administration and the International Forum Institute and is free and open to the public.

Growing up in Belfast-March 14

Prof. Bernard Cullen, dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Queen's University Belfast (Northern Ireland), will share reminiscences about his native city and offer thoughts about the current political situation there on Thursday, March 14 at 7:30 p.m. in the Robinson Center, Room 1700. A reception will follow.

Adam Neiman, piano-March 15

Classical pianist Adam Neiman will perform a solo recital on Friday, March 15 at 7:30 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center-Recital Hall. The concert will feature works by Ravel, Rachmaninoff, Grieg, Chopin, and also one of his own compositions, a Concert Etude. Tickets are $10 for general admission and $4 for students.

re:charge 2002-March 15-16

The Jacksonville chapter of the American Institute of Graphic Artists (AIGA) will present re:charge:2002 on campus March 15-16. Friday evening will feature Roger Black, a publication and global design consultant and Saturday will feature Clement Mok, Internet entrepreneur and current president of AIGA. During the day on Saturday there will be variety of lectures and hands on workshops. For professionals and students involved in the creation of new media there is also a competition in conjunction with the conference. Paws in the Park-March 16

The sixth annual Paws in the Park pet walk to benefit the Jacksonville Human Society will be in the UNF Nature Trails at 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 16. The cost is $25 in advance or $30 the day of the event . For more information call 724-7824.
