Applying to the University of North Florida

 2014 Apply Now

We're excited that you've chosen the University of North Florida as you begin the college application process. Please choose an application option from the options below.

If you have an N#

If you're a former UNF student or are already familiar with the myWings portal, you will save time by using your existing account to submit a new application. If you have an N# and have never logged in to myWings, click the Login Help link and follow the instructions. Once you have signed in, look for the Apply Now link in the Admissions channel on your Home tab. Once your application is complete you will be able to track the status of your application within myWings.

Apply via myWings

Do not use this option if you are unsure of your N# or if you may be using an N# associated with another person or student. This will cause your application to be rejected and it may create problems with the record of the student associated with the N# you used. If you are unsure of your N# please follow the instructions below and proceed as if you do not have an N#.

If you do not have an N#

If you don't have access to the myWings portal, you can create a new application that will generate an N# for you. Click here and follow the prompts for "New Applicant." After submitting your application, check your email for important messages and instructions. Within three days, we will create your active myWings account where you'll be able to track the status of the application and your academic credentials.

If you want to change your major

You do not need to fill out a new application to change your major. If you are a freshman applicant, or if you are a transfer applicant changing between general access majors, your major will have no impact on your admission decision. We recommend that you wait until you are admitted then change your major through your academic advisor, otherwise we will need an entire new application to make the change prior to admission. If you are a transfer student changing between limited/selective access and non-limited/selective access majors, please e-mail your request to the Office of Admissions.
