Advice for Students: "Take advantage of all that college life has to offer! Find opportunities to connect with faculty, staff and other students but always remember to take care of the reason that you are here. Do what you have to do first for your academics then do what you want to do with your remaining free time. Learning how to successfully prioritize your responsibilities while managing your time will help you in every aspect of your life now and in the future."
Advice for Students: "The most important qualities you need to succeed in college (and in life) are 'want to' and 'will do'. If you want to achieve your goals, one cannot exist without the other; you must have both. Remember, faith without works is dead."

Advice for Students: "Treat getting your education as a full-time job. Sacrificing money and free time in the short term will benefit you in the long run."

Advice for students:"College is a marathon, not a sprint. Instead of rushing through devote the time and effort needed to complete each individual leg using all the support available from professors, tutors, counselors and advisors along the way. The rules won't allow us to run the race for you but everyone here hopes you cross the final finish line."
B.A. Sociology University of North Florida Advice for students: "Do not make any assumptions. Ask questions. Do not let rumors be a deciding factor in making your choices. Pursue your passions. Be honest with yourself about your work ethic. Be your own biggest advocate. Take the time to research resources that will assist you in becoming a successful student."

Advice for Students: "Show up for class-being there is smart; not being there is not at all smart. Pay attention- actually listening to and reflecting on what is said and what is shown enhances your understanding of your capability. Do the work- you understand how to use what you have learned by applying the knowledge. Be truthful with others and yourself."
