The UNF Student Affiliate Chapter of the
American Chemical Society (ACS) is comprised of students interested in the
chemical sciences. Members come from diverse majors, backgrounds, and academic
experiences - all potential members are welcome. Officers are chosen for a year
and are installed in January. During the Academic Year, general members'
meeting are held bimonthly as a forum for discussion as well as to engage in
various service projects throughout the year. Members often meet with speakers
in the local and national chemistry industry and academia, and our Chemistry
Seminar Series presenters. Our annual highlight is participation in the Annual
Chemistry Explorathon held at the Jacksonville Museum of Science and History,
in which demonstrations and experiments are conducted by club members for local
school children, teachers, and the community
primary goal of the University of North Florida ACLU Club (UNF-ACLU) is to
raise awareness of civil liberties issues, and to safeguard those civil
liberties both on and off campus. This goal shall be accomplished through
events organized by UNF-ACLU and through dialogues with the University of North
Florida Administration, other campus organizations, and both the regional and
national American Civil Liberties Union
Everyone from UNF is invited to this group. This is really just a way of joining the body of Christ together. UNF Break Down the Walls will be responsible for planning and implementing outreach, prayer, and worship events for the entire campus community to enjoy.The FB group acts as a resource for people to post ideas, prayer meetings, events, hangouts, and whatever God lays on their hearts. We can be such an amazing force together as the body. By no means is this to recruit people to leave other campus ministries, but to unite outside of our group meetings and run alongside each other in the race that Christ has marked out for us!!!

Community Connections (CCP) strives to serve as bridge between the UNF psychology department and the community through research, community based learning, and services. CCP is a place where ideas are generated, civic responsibility is fostered, and collaborative efforts with the community are realized. It is also a potent resource and provides direction in best practices for faculty and students who would like to reach out to the community.
The purpose of Doctor Who University is to
promote a sense of friendship, community, and volunteerism through the values,
themes, and ambitions as shown in the British TV Show Doctor Who.
The purpose of EWB-UNF is
to partner with disadvantaged communities to improve their quality of life
through implementation of environmentally equitable and economically
sustainable engineering projects.

The Mathematics and Statistics Club is a non-secret organization whose purpose is the promotion of scholarly activities in mathematics and statistics among students at UNF and surrounding academic institutions and businesses. The club shall accomplish this by:
(1)Engaging in activities designed to promote the mathematical/statistical and scholarly development of its member,
(2)Sponsoring talks, competitions and volunteerism that further the purpose above stated.
MEDLIFE is a secular, volunteer-run
global health organization whose mission is to help families achieve greater
freedom from the constraints of poverty, empowering them to live healthier
lives. Our patients did not choose to be poor, but they do choose to strive for
a better life. MEDLIFE stands beside them in this pursuit. We seek to achieve
this goal through partnering with motivated individuals from poor communities
working to improve their access to MEDs: Medicine, Education and community
Development. MEDLIFE believes access to quality healthcare, education and
personal development are basic human rights. To this end, we commit all our
resources to bring Medicine, Education and Development to Low Income Families
Everywhere. Along with affiliate chapters, MEDLIFE UNF raises money for
medicine, education and community development projects for low-income families
in South America; actively learns about and increases awareness of inequality
in global healthcare; and works to promote the highest standard of MEDLIFE's
goals and reputation within the community.

all of the needs in the community for that month, speak with the UNF
Volunteer Coordinator, and learn about the importance of volunteerism.
The UNF Women’s Chorale is open to
experienced student singers who enjoy part-singing, and offers a unique
experience performing within a small, all-female vocal ensemble. The group’s
repertoire is drawn from a broad range of styles, from world music to
madrigals, pop and show tunes to spirituals. This ensemble meets once a week to
rehearse and students have the opportunity to choose repertoire, conduct and
arrange for the group.
Epsilon International Medical Fraternity creates physicians of integrity with a
life-long commitment to our guiding principles of philanthropy, deity, and
education through fellowship, service, mentoring, and formal training in leadership,
science, and ethics.
University of North Florida Pre-Pharmacy Club is a unifying organization which aids prospective Pharmacy students discussing specific issues regarding their future careers. Dr. Amy Lane, Assistant Professor from the Chemistry department is the club adviser.
Objectives of our club include, but are not limited to:
Specific discussion and preparation for the pharmacy Admission Test (PCAT).
Opportunities for students to communicate ideas, share information about test preparation methods, and offer peer to peer tutoring sessions.
Receive feedback from upper level students who have taken the PCAT.
Creating shadowing and volunteer opportunities for all UNF pre-pharmacy club members.
Pharmacists around the city will be offering shadowing/volunteer opportunities.

SCJA is a club devoted to those with an interest in the Criminal Justice System as a whole. It is used to connect them to professionals in the related fields, as well as to expose them to various aspects of the system through unprecedented access.

The Student United Way helps UNF students build
bridges with the greater Jacksonville community. The club functions as the UNF
branch of the United Way of Northeast Florida whose mission is to provide
leadership, resources and focus to improve lives in their community by creating
sustainable improvements in education, income and health.

Surfrider Foundation: University of North Florida Club is to protect and promote
the beautiful environment that North Florida has to offer. We will do this

friends get together to enjoy the art of Disney animation, and to raise funds
for children who can’t afford trips to Disney, or sick children in the Nemours hospital.
