Active Minds empowers students to speak openly about mental health to educate others and encourage help-seeking. We are changing the culture on campuses and in our communities through mental health education, leadership opportunities and advocacy training to the next generation.

Advertising Club

The UNF Advertising Club offers students the opportunity to develop individual leadership qualities and an understanding of group action; to provide a “real world” experience to supplement and complement formal education of University of North Florida; to allow students to not only see but gain experience in the advertising field; to develop relationships with others in the advertising industry; to help out the community and other organizations on campus by providing a quality service that is intended to help such organizations improve their advertising departments.

Advocates for World Health (AWH) is a not-for-profit committed to providing the developing world with surplus medical product sourced from the developed world.

African American Student Union

AASU is an organization that expands the knowledge of African American culture through activities and educational workshops.  We strive to unify our members by creating lifelong relationships, and being a catalyst for both self and campus enrichment. Alpha Sigma Pi

Alpha Sigma Pi is a professional organization dedicated to the promotion and stimulation of greater interest in the profession of accountancy and to the encouragement of high scholarship and proficiency. The club sponsors numerous activities designed to strengthen relationships among students, faculty, and members of the business community. These activities include a social every term, various speakers, and an awards banquet twice during the academic year. Outstanding students and faculty chosen by Alpha Sigma Pi are recognized at the banquet. Membership is open to all students, faculty, and alumni.

American Chemical Society

The UNF Student Chapter of the American Chemical Society is comprised of students interested in the Chemical Sciences. The purpose of the ACS club is to help chemistry students to establish a sense of community and network with other student and professionals in the science fields. ACS provides academic resources and volunteering opportunities both on campus and out in the community.
Members come from diverse backgrounds, majors and academic experiences - all students are welcome!
During the academic year, general meetings are held monthly as a forum for discussion, meeting with speakers in the local and national chemistry industry and academia, as well as to engage in various service projects throughout the year.
Our annual highlights are participation in community science demonstrations, Relay For Life - cancer awareness festival and attendance of the Pittcon Analytical Chemistry Conference.


American Civil Liberties Union Club

The primary goal of the University of North Florida ACLU Club (UNF-ACLU) is to raise awareness of civil liberties issues, and to safeguard those civil liberties both on and off campus. This goal shall be accomplished through events organized by UNF-ACLU and through dialogues with the University of North Florida Administration, other campus organizations, and both the regional and national American Civil Liberties Union .


American Marketing Association

Have you ever wondered why certain companies choose certain products over others? Or how the display of a shelf can have an influence over a consumer? Or maybe have an interest in sports marketing, fashion marketing, viral marketing, or brand loyalty? Then this club may be for you. The UNF AMA is open to anyone who is interested in this subject matter.
The purpose of the UNF AMA is to promote a better understanding and use of marketing principles and concepts by providing real opportunities for members to be involved with current marketing trends and traditions. These goals shall be achieved through encouraging members to participate with marketing seminars, marketing projects, attend meetings to hear guest speakers, and enter marketing contests.

American Sign Language

The mission of the UNF ASL Club is to foster a comfortable environment for all levels of ASL proficiency. The club serves as a bridge to build relationships with the Deaf community by hosting and supporting inclusive educational opportunities and interactions. The UNF ASCE Chapter is an organization which specializes in professional development, networking and hands-on learning.  It is a great opportunity to demonstrate what you’ve learned in class by applying your knowledge to numerous projects such as steel bridge and concrete canoe.

The purpose of the UNF Animal Activist Club is to educate the public on the importance of a no-kill community, promote adoption of sheltered animals, and to raise funds for animal welfare organizations.

The UNF Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) Chapter promotes knowledge and interest in the science, design, development, construction, languages, management, and application of modern computing. The chapter provides an opportunity for communication among people interested in computing through meetings, speaker presentations, and programming contests.

The purpose of the astronomy club is to engage the member in a discussion of the mechanics of celestial objects and to immerse the student in astronomical observation

Athletic Training Student Association

The purpose of the Athletic Training Student Association is to help students succeed in a challenging pathway to a career in the prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of injuries and conditions among patients and athletes.  The ATSA club will help to prepare students for the Board of Certification Examination to become a Certified Athletic Trainer and a career at the secondary school, college and university, and professional athletic, clinic, hospital, industrial, and performing arts settings.

Baby Osprey

The purpose of Baby Ospreys is to enhance the quality of instructional services provided for UNF/CDRC students through the use of parent volunteers.

Bass Fishing Club

The UNF bass fishing club is for any student with an interest in bass fishing.  Our club attempts to teach people how to fish for bass in general, but also teaches the sport of tournament bass fishing.  We hold regular fishing events on campus and fish intramural tournaments on public lakes and rivers in Northeast Florida.  Our members also fish regional and national level collegiate tournaments with organizations such as F.L.W. Outdoors and B.A.S.S.

Be the Match

Be The Match On Campus is a growing movement of student-led chapters at more than 70 colleges and universities around the country. UNF has joined the movement, and we are doing something epic – delivering cures for blood cancers. Every four minutes, someone is diagnosed with a life-threatening blood cancer or blood disease like leukemia, lymphoma or sickle cell anemia. For many of them, a marrow transplant is their only hope for a cure. Yet 70% of patients do not have a matching donor in their family. They rely on Be The Match to find a matching donor and a chance for a cure. The mission of Be The Match On Campus is to engage students in Be The Match’s mission to save lives by providing meaningful, unique opportunities for students to learn about blood cancers and other life-threatening diseases treated by a marrow transplant; increase awareness of the need for more young, racially and ethnically diverse registry members who can save a life; hold campus-wide marrow donor registry drives and fundraising events to give the entire student body the opportunity to join in the global effort; and build a sustainable chapter that becomes part of every class’s legacy at UNF

Best Buddies

UNF Best Buddies is a Club dedicated to establishing a volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development for UNF students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We get together as a group multiples times a semester to socialize and do various activities. It's a way to make a difference on our very own campus and help enhance the college experience for students with and without disabilities!!

Biomedical Pre-Professionals is a student run, philanthropy centered UNF club which strives to instill the importance of giving back to the community in each of its members. We work to offer opportunities to connect our members to various local and national organizations where we can devote our efforts to helping our community. We also focus on helping each other on our academic paths to gain entrance into professional programs. We offer different workshops and seminars hosted by local physicians and professionals for those interested in pursuing further education in these fields.

Chamber Singers

The Chamber Singers Club is an ensemble comprised of singers who perform challenging repertoire drawn from diverse styles and time periods. The group rehearses twice per week and performs around ten concerts throughout the academic year both on and off campus. This group is frequently seen performing at numerous campus functions, civic occasions and society events and represents the University as a recruitment tool. Participation in Chamber Singers demands a high level of excellence, enthusiasm and dedication in ensemble singing.

Chi Sigma Iota

Chi Sigma Iota is the international honor society of professional counseling and for professional counselors. It was established in 1985 through the efforts of leaders in the profession of counseling whose desire was to provide recognition for outstanding achievement as well as outstanding service within the profession. CSI was created for counselors-in-training, counselor educators, and professional counselors whose career commitment is to research and service through professional counseling. https://www.csi-net.org

Chinese Culture Club

The Chinese Culture Club is one of the coolest organizations on campus. We are comprised of over 100 members, and we pride ourselves on the many ethnic events we hold or participate each semester. We do everything from eating dim sum (dumplings!) to participating in festivals. Our big events throughout the year are mainly: Lunar New Year and the Autumn Moon Festival (a.k.a. mooncake festival). The Chinese Culture Club is also happy to be able to bring many of China's and other Asian countries' traditions and celebrations to UNF for students to experience. Such events are not only lots of fun, but they are very insightful too. We hope you will join us and not miss out on the experiences of a lifetime!

Chorale Club

The UNF Chorale is a mixed choral ensemble open to any UNF student who enjoys singing and has prior musical experience. The Chorale rehearses twice weekly and performs up to 4 concerts per semester. Gathering enthusiastic singers from every college across the University, the 60-80 member student group performs music from World Music to “Classical” Music to recent compositions as well as larger choral-orchestral masterworks.

Climbing Club

Climbing club's purpose is to create a welcoming and supportive community for students of all levels of climbing. We offer opportunities to compete locally, regionally, and  even nationally! If that's not your thing, we also plan outdoor climbing trips throughout the southeast! Many of the members also work at The Osprey Cliff and volunteer their time coaching students in climbing technique. Come and join the fun, whether it's just to hang out, or to take on a full body exercise- we're here to help you!

Club Of Music Theatre Performers

The with no audition or previous experience required, the purpose of this group is to give students an appreciation of musical theater and other forms of staged theater. Through games, workshops, and solo and group musical numbers in a constructive setting with no pressure students can learn the basics of musical theater singing, acting, and dance.

Coasts Oceans Ports and Rivers Institute

UNF COPRI is proud to be a student chapter at the University of North Florida since September 2012. COPRI stands for: Coasts, Oceans, Ports, and Rivers Institute. UNF is currently working in unison with ASCE/COPRI to advance the engineering profession along the coasts through a collective effort that is mutually beneficial to both organizations. Past, present, and future activities include club meetings, seminars, workshops, conferences, socials, and field trips. These events incorporate industry professionals from within the local community in northeast Florida, as well as prestigious engineers from around the nation. UNF is also progressing the coastal engineering community by involving up-and-coming young engineers and scientists with industry professionals through networking opportunities and project site visits. The College Democrats pledges itself to support the philosophy and candidates of the Democratic Party. Furthermore, the College Democrats declares its intention to support all efforts to increase the participation of college students in Democratic affairs. To these ends, the College Democrats shall educate and train its members so that they may be better able to:
1. Educate students about the philosophy of the Democratic Party;
2. Assist in the election of local, state, and national Democratic candidates;

The purpose of the UNF College Republicans is to make known and promote the principles of the Republican Party among members of the UNF campus and community, encourage and assist in the organization and active functioning of the Republican Party at the local, state, and national levels, and develop political skills and leadership abilities among Republican students as preparation for future service by them to the party and the community.

Command+N Design

Command+N Design Club at UNF consists of a group of creatives working together to collaborate and share ideas. Activities include promotional projects for non-profit organizations, professional lectures, films, discussions, and etc.

Community Connections in Psychology

CCP is dedicated to helping psychology students get the best out of their time in UNF. Our general purpose is to have students graduating with a confidence-boosting resume and real-world experience. Our secondary goal is community awareness and volunteering.


CoPassion LAB

We are the student leadership advisory board representing most of the Christian Ministries on campus to help activate Christ-centered students to join staff with their respective ministries.

Couture Helps Inspire Charity

CHIC is an organization for students interested in fashion, style and design, and produces a runway show on campus each year to raise awareness for body image issues.

Craft Beer Club

The purpose of our organization is to learn more about the science behind brewing various types of beers and bring awarness to drinking responsibly.

Dance Marathon

UNF Dance Marathon raises funds and awareness for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. Funds are used to purchase medical equipment, child-life resources, and educational materials. UNF DM fundraises throughout the year, culminating with a large event in the spring to celebrate our efforts. Students stay on their feet through dancing, entertainment, and games, as well as interact with our local Miracle Children.

Deadbird Rugby

The purpose of this organization is to bring together experienced and inexperienced individuals to learn, play and be a part of rugby. UNF Rugby will provide a hardworking environment for members to learn the basic concepts of sportsmanship and teamwork.

Delta Sigma Pi

Delta Sigma Pi is a professional fraternity organized to foster the study of business in universities; to encourage scholarship, social activity and the association of students for their mutual advancement by research and practice; to promote closer affiliation between the commercial world and students of commerce, and to further a higher standard of commercial ethics and culture and the civic and commercial welfare of the community.

Design Build Institute America

DBIA Student Chapters are dedicated to promoting widespread and successful utilization of the design-build project delivery method in shaping the built environment. To accomplish this goal, they are committed to fostering interdisciplinary education and communication relative to integrated facilities delivery.


Student led initiative to divest the UNF endowment from dirty fossil fuels. Divest UNF asserts, “If it is wrong to wreck the climate, then it is wrong to profit from that wreckage." We believe that educational institutions that serve the public good should not be profiting from unethical companies. Our economy, our people, and our future are at risk from the reckless burning of fossil fuels. Responsible and ethical leadership demands divestment.

 The purpose of Doctor Who University is to promote a sense of friendship, community, and volunteerism through the values, themes, and ambitions as shown in the British TV Show Doctor Who.


Eco Club

The ECO CLUB is designed to form a community of UNF students that share similar interests in being outdoors and eco friendly. Our goal is to protect and preserve the natural environment on campus and in our community. Our club is unique in that it organizes and promotes plenty of outdoor activities that are not only social but also adventurous. The Eco Club will benefit students physically and mentally, expand their eco-consciousness, and develop leadership skills.

Economics Society

The purpose of Economic society is to foster interest in all facets of economics, both theoretical and practical. The intent of the society is not only to serve potential future economists in their academic and per-professional needs, but also to allow interested students who are not pursuing a career in economics to understand the impact that economics has on day-to-day living.


Enactus is an international non-profit organization that works with leaders in business and higher education to mobilize university students to make a difference in their communities while developing the skills to become socially responsible business leaders. Participating students form teams on their university campuses and apply business concepts to develop outreach projects that improve the quality of life and standard of living for people in need.

The Entrepreneur Society at UNF is here to bring the entrepreneurial minds of the University of North Florida together to collaborate and expand their minds on the topic of entrepreneurship.

Equestrian Club

The purpose of the UNF Equestrian Team is to promote high standards of horsemanship, sportsmanship, character, leadership, and fellowship in all members. To encourage, foster, and promote the intercollegiate equestrian activities within the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA). To promote knowledge and skill in handling and care of horses. To promote horse related intercollegiate activities and sponsor the riding teams representing the University of North Florida.

Eta Kappa Nu

Eta Kappa Nu is dedicated to academic excellence in the field of Electrical Engineering. This includes offering tutoring services to students and community outreach.

Eta Sigma Gamma

Eta Sigma Gamma (ESG) is a the National Professional Health Education Honorary at UNF.  The purpose of ESG is to:
-Enhance professional competence and dedication of individual members to the health education profession

Exercise Science Student Association

Exercise Science Student Association is a closed group to those students accepted into the Exercise Science program. Within the club, the students will get involved with volunteer opportunities around the Jacksonville community, the seniors will become mentors to the juniors, and provide great leaders in the health and well-being of citizens.

FACES Modeling Troupe, Inc.

To introduce the many aspects of the modeling industry using specialized photography, innovative fashion, unique runway modeling techniques and mechanics, community service, and health awareness for its members and the surrounding community; hoping to enhance each individual's knowledge of a professional modeling experience.

Filipino Student Association

UNF Filipino Student Association is a club that promotes the culture and heritage of the Philippines on the campus of University of North Florida and to the community of Jacksonville. Our mission is to build a lasting relationship between UNF students and the business community. With this relationship, it is our goal to encourage and support students through educational programs and comprehensive local business networks. Through this relationship, students will receive encouragement and support in their educational pursuits. The purpose of the Forensic Science Club is to bring together students who share an interest in forensic science with members of the Jacksonville community currently engaged in a career in any forensic science, part of a forensic science organization, or have a degree in forensic science. The Forensic Science Club seeks to integrate students interested in forensic science into one common group. The FSC wishes to bring new educational information about forensic science to the public discussion, through presentations from local professionals and UNF staff with a background or interest in the fields. We wish to create an interesting environment where students can gather to learn more, interact with like-minded individuals, give back to the community, and create programs that will benefit their future plans and career goals.

Forensic Science Club

The purpose of the Forensic Science Club is to bring together students at the University of North Florida who are interested in any of the forensic sciences with members of the Jacksonville community who are currently engaged in a career in any forensic science, part of a forensic science organization, or have a degree in a forensic science. The Forensic Science club seeks to bring all students who are interested in forensic science to a common group. The FSC wishes to do this to help bring new educational information about a student’s interest in a forensic science career to the table, to have presenters and professional members of the community come in to discuss current topics or career options, and to bring the UNF Staff who have a background or interest in forensic science together also. We wish to create an educational and interesting environment where students can come to learn more, interact with other students with similar majors, give back to their community, and create programs that will be beneficial to their future plans.

Freethought Society of UNF

The mission of the Free Thought Society of UNF (FTS) is as follows:
A. To promote logic, reason, and the use of the scientific method as the means for understanding the world around us.
B. To provide a social and intellectual community for non-believers and freethinkers on the campus of UNF.
C. To defend and promote the First Amendment clause that prevents the establishment of a particular religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.
D. To educate the public about non-theists and the importance of church-state separation.

Fuoco is bringing the style of Pitch Perfect and Pentatonix to the UNF Music program. We perform contemporary songs using only the power of the human voice and mouth. Come out and see us sometime!

Gamer's Guild

The Gamer's Guild is designed to provide a community for UNF students to meet, discuss, and play all types of video games on all platforms whether it's PC, XBox, Playstation, Nintendo, etc.  All gamer's welcome.

Gaming and Application Development

The club will promote meetings, discussions, and competitions in gaming, application development, and computer programming languages. The goal will be to provide opportunities to UNF students that increase their awareness and communication in these areas of computer technology.

Grace Campus Fellowship

We are a ministry of Grace Community Church in Mandarin. As an extension of the church, we pursue the glory of God by making disciples and biblically shepherding them to love Jesus Christ and live His truth.

Graduate Psychology Organization

The purpose of the UNF Graduate Psychology Organization is comprised of the following components: 1) To facilitate networking and promote group cohesion and bonding among both first and second-year cohorts of the Masters of Arts in General Psychology Program via social events and team-building exercises. 2) To serve the greater community by volunteering with local charities and non-profit organizations as well as raising funds and essential items for those in need. 3) To facilitate in pursuing academic goals and professional development for both graduate and undergraduate psychology students. For graduate psychology students, this will include organizing study groups for classes, preparing for conferences, and assisting each other with theses projects, and accumulating a database of information regarding scholarships, job opportunities, and PhD programs. For undergraduate psychology students this will include mentoring or advising undergraduate psychology majors in developing their identities in the psychological sciences and serving as an accessible resource to undergraduate psychology majors and prospective psychology graduate students. 4) To establish a presence and voice for the psychology graduate program in the community and on campus.

Graduate Student Organization

The Graduate Student Organization was founded in order to give voice to all of the Graduate students at the University of North Florida. We strive to ensure that all Graduate students receive the highest quality student experience that UNF can provide. We will advocate for, program towards, and show support for all Graduate Students regardless of their discipline of study.

Haunted Consoles

The purpose of Haunted Consoles is to provide the students of UNF with an outlet in which to have fun, meet new people, and work towards stress relief by playing games in the horror genre.

Health Administration Student Association

The Health Administration Student Association (HASA) is the University of North Florida’s student chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). We partner with ACHE and Jacksonville’s vibrant healthcare community to give members ample opportunities to apply what they learn in the classroom to real healthcare settings. The objectives of our organization are to provide students with opportunities to network with area healthcare leaders both on campus during meetings and off campus at field trips, to provide students with leadership opportunities and to raise funds to further develop members through attendance at the American College of Healthcare Executives Annual Congress on Healthcare Leadership.

International Youth Fellowship

 The purpose of IYF is to bring today’s youth together and promote intellectual, spiritual, emotional and social growth in the university students through different activities including cultural diversity programs, volunteer promotions, free classes and leadership mind lectures . Through the activities mentioned, students will be able to learn about different cultures, volunteer opportunities that will shape student’s hearts, acquire new knowledge and skills, life lessons and leadership knowledge through the Christian mindset.

 Our lives have been changed by Jesus and we want to share that with other people. We do this by loving people through serving them, sharing the Gospel, leading them into the Word of God, leading them into the presence of God through prayer and worship, leading them to a biblical community, and developing disciples who develop disciples.

Jacksonville Campus Ministry

JCM goal is to provide students with a free meal once a week and allow the opportunity to discuss controversial topic in a moderated environment.

Jewish Ospreys

The Jewish Ospreys brings together Jewish students from across Jacksonville, promoting Judaism, providing a place where every student feels at home.

Jewish Student Union

The JSU is a way for Jewish Ospreys to get together and socialize and be together and have somewhere to always go on religious holidays.  We are focused to enhance connections throughout the Jacksonville community.  Along with great event in activities, we also have interfaith events with students.  

Knitting Ospreys

The Knitting Ospreys welcomes knitters and crocheters to engage in a community of crafters who wish to disprove the idea that needlecraft is an aged hobby. The club is open to interested students of all experience levels.

Krishna Club

Krishna Club is a community of people at the University of North Florida who love coming together to grow in spiritual life and have FUN. This organization is for EVERYONE, is not sectarian, and provides an open atmosphere for spiritual exploration and discussion. Our overall purpose is to learn, share, and apply the practices of bhakti yoga (linking to God through devotion) to develop our personal spiritual lives. Club meetings generally involve kirtan (musical meditation), readings from prominent Vedic texts such as Bhagavad-Gita As It Is, and discussion of spiritual concepts such as karma, yoga, self-realization, and God-realization. Sharing sanctified vegetarian food is an important part of our practice; therefore we often bring food to club meetings. Krishna Club also facilitates the exploration of Vedic culture, and is affiliated with the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON).

Latin American Student Organization

To create a space for investigation, discussion, and encounter, for the Latin-American population of UNF as well as for other groups interested in the development and culture of the region.

Marine Biology Club

This club is for all of those interested in marine life who want to learn more about the field and want to participate in activities or research. Our goal is to  educate others about marine life while having fun through various activities such as speaker series, beach cleanups, and documentary nights.

Mathematics and Statistics Club

The Mathematics and Statistics Club is a non-secret organization whose purpose is the promotion of scholarly activities in mathematics and statistics among students at UNF and surrounding academic institutions and businesses. The club shall accomplish this by:

(1)Engaging in activities designed to promote the mathematical/statistical and scholarly development of its member,

(2)Sponsoring talks, competitions and volunteerism that further the purpose above stated.

Medical Laboratory Science Society

Medical Laboratory Science is a creative, science-based profession that is critical to the maintenance of health and to the diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of disease. The Medical Lab Science Society at UNF is interested in developing the social, educational, and cultural development of its members. We are devoted to learning about the field of Medical Laboratory Science by sharing with others about our profession and making a difference in the community. The MLS Society brings students together to learn from the experiences of speakers, community projects (both scientific and social), support of the UNF Medical Laboratory Science program and student advocacy for the profession. Anyone interested in the field of Medical Laboratory Sciences are encouraged to join.

MEDLIFE UNF (Medicine, Education and Development for Low Income Families Everywhere)

The purpose of this organization is to support the national MEDLIFE organization through volunteering and providing free healthcare to impoverished people in developing nations. While being involved in the local community as well.

Men's Chorus

The UNF Men's Chorus is an auditioned ensemble that emphasizes performance and student leadership. Participation in this club encourages commitment, dedication, and personal growth as musicians and performers. This ensemble meets once a week to rehearse, and students have the opportunity to conduct and arrange for the group. Their repertoire is innovative, traditional, and fun, cutting across the genres of Barbershop, R&B, Doo-Wop, World Music, and Classical Music.

Mock Trial

The University of North Florida Mock Trial Organization's mission is to empower undergraduate students, who are seeking knowledge and experience relating to a career in practicing law, with a basic, general, and practical understanding of courtroom litigation.

Model United Nations

Model UN is an intercollegiate simulation of the United Nations and other international policymaking institutions. Model UN improves student's awareness of International Relations, Political Science, and History, and challenges their skills in public speaking, communication, research, and diplomacy. We successfully represent UNF across the country in regional and national competitions.

Osprey Cuong Nhu

The Osprey Cuong Nhu Club is the rebirth of the grand Osprey Dojo (reborn as the Black Talon Dojo) that formed at UNF several years ago. Cuong Nhu is an oriental martial arts style that fuses the “hard” and “soft” techniques of many styles to create one versatile martial art. The seven blends of styles included in Cuong Nhu are Shotokan Karate, Aikido, Judo, Boxing, Tai Chi Chuan, Vovinam, and Wing Chun. The style primarily strives for self-improvement in the students’ mind, body, spirit, and to condition students to adapt to changing circumstances (varying body sizes, heights, and attacks). Come to the Black Talon Dojo to engage in training sessions that encompass learning self-defense techniques, strikes, various katas, rolling, and weapons! Cuong Nhu is a national organization and welcomes anyone to become part of the family. The Osprey Cuong Nhu Club meets every Tuesday and Thursday at 6:30 until 8:00 in the mirror room of the second floor in the Arena. Train with us in the Black Talon Dojo!

We are a group that each year designs, builds, and races a formula style car against 120 international teams. The competition we gear up for each year has a design, cost, business/finance, and racing segments which all give us points to compete against the top engineering schools in the world. The main result is providing students with hands on experience in many different areas.

The primary purpose of this organization is to unite students from South Asian origin and other cultures as well as to facilitate a cultural exchange. These goals shall be achieved through:
1. Events and activities related to customs and festivals celebrated throughout South Asia.
2. Helping new students coming to study in UNF with housing and other questions or concerns they might have.

Osprey Volunteers

The purpose of Osprey Volunteers is to work together to make a difference in the community on and off campus with hands-on meaningful volunteer opportunities, events and the sharing of ideas about how we can continue to make positive strides in the community.  Students can come to meeting to learn about all of the needs in the community for that month, speak with the UNF Volunteer Coordinator, and learn about the importance of volunteerism.

Osprey Women's Chorale


The UNF Women’s Chorale is open to experienced student singers who enjoy part-singing, and offers a unique experience performing within a small, all-female vocal ensemble. The group’s repertoire is drawn from a broad range of styles, from world music to madrigals, pop and show tunes to spirituals. This ensemble meets once a week to rehearse and students have the opportunity to choose repertoire, conduct and arrange for the group.

The TeleRobotics Club exists to bring together students at UNF who are interested in getting hands-on experience by learning to remotely control robots and machines using a graphical user interface and live streaming video at a great distances.

The Future Networkers of America

What this club is all about is a group of students joined together, not through similar beliefs, but by the simple will to influence the community within UNF and the great city of Jacksonville. By priding ourselves in diverse ideas and opinions we come together to debate on past, present, and future writings, sayings, and actions of all kinds. From literature, to politics, to sports, it doesn't matter; we pick the best of our topics and debate. We then take these topics and apply them to our life styles and actions to directly or indirectly influence issues that are occurring around us. By debating these topics by incorporating different angels of our students, we will be able to determine what is a necessary action and accurate angle to which we all agree to act. The UNF Biology Club

The UNF Biology Club promotes an academically-based, friendly biological community. As a club our goals are to encourage the social interactions of students in the biological studies and compliment their learning experience at UNF, to provide extra-curricular recreational, social and educational activities for all members and to provide a channel for communication and exchange of ideas with biology related programs, organizations and professionals.


TOMS is a for-profit company based in Santa Monica, California. The purpose of TOMS is that when TOMS sells a pair of shoes, a pair of shoes is given to an impoverished child, and when Toms sells a pair of eyewear, part of the profit is used to save or restore the eyesight for people in developing countries. Creating a better world for us to live in.

Triathalon Club

The purpose of UNF Triathlon Club is to The UNF Triathlon Club is a dedicated group of student athletes who come from a plethora backgrounds, whether previously an athlete or not. Our mission is to promote awareness of our sport as well as promote physical fitness and wellness on our campus and in our community. We will accomplish this by representing our university and sport at both collegiate conference races, local triathlons, and in the community. We are able to do this with the help of our school faculty and staff, talented alumni, great sponsors, and student government

Through organized meetings and events, each chapter serves as a voice of inspiration and support for students and their surrounding communities."

The purpose of UNF Bronies is to bring the Brony community of UNF together, and to spread awareness of the Brony community and culture at large by watching the show and related media as a group.

UNF Grappling Club gives students an opportunity to practice learning and honing skills of Brazilian Jujitsu in self-defense.

UNF Microsoft Developers Network

The purpose of UNF Microsoft Developers Network is to provide the tools and resources in order to develop applications for various Windows marketplaces.   UNF MSDN will offer opportunities for students to interact with guest speakers and to participate as a community of developers for Windows devices.

UNF National Association for Music Education Collegiate Chapter

The purpose of the organization is to advocate and promote awareness for music education; provide resources for students interested in becoming music educators; hosts professional development events; and offers a variety of opportunities for students.

UNF Nutrition Journal Club

UNF Nutrition Journal Club seeks to build student’s knowledge of approaches to research and enrich understanding of developing topics in Nutrition, as well as provide support to those interested in pursuing careers in research.

UNF Pre-Dental Club

The purpose of UNF Pre-Dental Club is to:
a. Have specific discussion and preparation for the Dental Admission Test (DAT).
b. Set opportunities for students to communicate ideas, share information about preparation methods, and offer peer-to-peer tutoring sessions.
c. Receive feedback from upper level students who have taken the DAT.
d. Create shadowing and volunteer opportunities* for all UNF Pre-Dental Club members.
i. *Our club members are encouraged to participate in other volunteer activities and clubs, organized by different pre-professional societies on campus, and vice versa. This way, all pre-professional students remain united and competition will not get in the way of each student succeeding in their specific field of interest.
e. Receive shadowing/volunteer opportunities from dentists around the city.
f. Participate in dental related volunteer activities in hospitals around the city.
g. Engage in meetings held with speakers from well-known universities (such as UF, Nova, LECOM, etc.).
h. Offer information for Mission Trips out of the country, through International Service Learning (ISL), for further dental opportunities.
i. Provide information about the admission process, academic requirements, faculty, classes, and facilities of the different universities.
j. Offer other insight to increase the chances of getting accepted into desired schools and succeeding in the field of dentistry (e.g. DAT Kaplan Course, Paid Internship Opportunities, etc.)

Vegan Club

The purpose of Veg Ospreys is to educate students about and promote the health, environmental, and philosophical benefits of a vegan lifestyle.  This will be done by informational potlucks held on the green.

Women in Business Society

The mission of this Society is to support women in efforts to pursue higher levels of educational and professional achievement through networking resources, exposure to career opportunities and successful business women in the Jacksonville community. The Women in Business Society goal is to maintain alumni achievement, develop female leaders and cultivate an environment of continuing growth and excellence. Membership is not restricted to women; anyone who is interested in supporting our mission is welcome.

Women's Chorus

The UNF Women’s Chorus is open to experienced student singers who enjoy part-singing in the treble range, and offers a unique experience performing within an all-female vocal ensemble. The group’s repertoire is drawn from a broad range of styles, from classical to world music, pop and show tunes to spirituals. This ensemble meets twice a week to rehearse, and students occasionally have the opportunity to choose repertoire, conduct warmups and arrange for the group.

The purpose of the UNF Women's Lacrosse Club is to host a team at the club level with weekly practice and some games.
