Active Minds at UNF

Active Minds empowers students to speak openly about mental health to educate others and encourage help-seeking. We are changing the culture on campuses and in our communities through mental health education, leadership opportunities and advocacy training to the next generation.

Advertising Club

The UNF Advertising Club offers students the opportunity to develop individual leadership qualities and an understanding of group action; to provide a “real world” experience to supplement and complement formal education of University of North Florida; to allow students to not only see but gain experience in the advertising field; to develop relationships with others in the advertising industry; to help out the community and other organizations on campus by providing a quality service that is intended to help such organizations improve their advertising departments.

African American Student Union

AASU is an organization that expands the knowledge of African American culture through activities and educational workshops.  We strive to unify our members by creating lifelong relationships, and being a catalyst for both self and campus enrichment. While providing cultural experiences to the University of North Florida, we strive to exemplify our standing motto: “Unity is Our Strength”.

Alpha Kappa Psi is recognized as the premier developer of principled business leaders.

Alpha Phi Omega

The purpose of Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity Incorporated is to exemplify the principles of leadership, friendship, and service through the historical ideals of giving back to the community in the spirit of brotherhood and service.


Alpha Sigma Pi

Alpha Sigma Pi is a professional organization dedicated to the promotion and stimulation of greater interest in the profession of accountancy and to the encouragement of high scholarship and proficiency. The club sponsors numerous activities designed to strengthen relationships among students, faculty, and members of the business community. These activities include a social every term, various speakers, and an awards banquet twice during the academic year. Outstanding students and faculty chosen by Alpha Sigma Pi are recognized at the banquet. Membership is open to all students, faculty, and alumni.

American Chemical Society

The UNF Student Affiliate Chapter of the American Chemical Society (ACS) is comprised of students interested in the chemical sciences. Members come from diverse majors, backgrounds, and academic experiences - all potential members are welcome. Officers are chosen for a year and are installed in January. During the Academic Year, general members' meeting are held bimonthly as a forum for discussion as well as to engage in various service projects throughout the year. Members often meet with speakers in the local and national chemistry industry and academia, and our Chemistry Seminar Series presenters. Our annual highlight is participation in the Annual Chemistry Explorathon held at the Jacksonville Museum of Science and History, in which demonstrations and experiments are conducted by club members for local school children, teachers, and the community .  


American Civil Liberties Union Club

The primary goal of the University of North Florida ACLU Club (UNF-ACLU) is to raise awareness of civil liberties issues, and to safeguard those civil liberties both on and off campus. This goal shall be accomplished through events organized by UNF-ACLU and through dialogues with the University of North Florida Administration, other campus organizations, and both the regional and national American Civil Liberties Union .


American Marketing Association

The purpose of the UNF AMA is to promote a better understanding and use of marketing principles and concepts by providing real opportunities for members to be involved with current marketing trends and traditions. These goals shall be achieved through encouraging members to participate with marketing seminars, marketing projects, attend meetings to hear guest speakers, and enter marketing contests.

American Sign Language

The mission of the UNF ASL Club is to foster a comfortable environment for all levels of ASL proficiency. The club serves as a bridge to build relationships with the Deaf community by hosting and supporting inclusive educational opportunities and interactions. The purpose of the UNF Animal Activist Club is to educate the public on the importance of a no-kill community, promote adoption of sheltered animals, and to raise funds for animal welfare organizations.

The purpose of this organization is to provide an opportunity for the students of UNF to learn more about Anthropology, to build social networks within the Anthropology department and community, and to provide students with information about furthering their careers in Anthropology.

Asian Students in Alliance

The purpose of this organization is to unite and celebrate the rich cultures of Asia. We will foster growth and understanding of other cultures and backgrounds through cultural events, volunteering, educating, and establishing a sense of community within members. We want to bridge the gap between ancestral Asia and modern culture. We aim to raise awareness of Asian-American cultures and immerse students in the beauty of our diversity. We value the importance of unity and respect and we hold firm to our motto: ‘UNF A.S.I.A. is not just a club, it’s a family.’ We welcome individuals of all races and ethnicities to join us in our mission.

Association for Computing Machinery

The UNF Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) Chapter promotes knowledge and interest in the science, design, development, construction, languages, management, and application of modern computing. The chapter provides an opportunity for communication among people interested in computing through meetings, speaker presentations, and programming contests.

Association of Informational Technology

The purpose of Association of Information Technology Professional Club at the University of North Florida is to provide a collaborative environment for students to improve their employability, specifically by: learning additional programming languages, obtaining professional certifications, and practicing hiring interviews.

Athletic Training Student Association

The purpose of the Athletic Training Student Association is to help students succeed in a challenging pathway to a career in the prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of injuries and conditions among patients and athletes.  The ATSA club will help to prepare students for the Board of Certification Examination to become a Certified Athletic Trainer and a career at the secondary school, college and university, and professional athletic, clinic, hospital, industrial, and performing arts settings.

Auto Racing Club

We are the first and only car club at UNF that is for people who have an interest in or own fast cars. Our objective is to plan, promote, and conduct safe and legal motor sport events. Such as, trips to a drag strip or autocross events. We also hold monthly car meets on top of garage 44.

Baby Osprey Parents

The mission of the parent organization (P.O.) is to enhance the quality of instructional services provided for UNF/CDRC students through the use of parent volunteers. It recognizes the importance of parent involvement as one of the critical elements of achieving the development of each child’s feeling of self-worth, self-awareness, consideration for the welfare of other, ability to share materials and ideas and to foster a love of learning within each child.

The purpose of the PO is to provide higher level of parent involvement by creating a planned program of experiences and activities, which support and enhance the family/school relationship.

The propose of the UNF fishing club is to fish and fish hard. We plan to not only bring out all bass fishers of UNF but also to give them other UNF students to fish with. Also we plan to fish in national tournaments and just do local things so any UNF student can fish and get plugged in so everyone can feel like they fit in at they University of North Florida.

Biomedical Pre-Professionals is a student run, philanthropy centered UNF club which strives to instill the importance of giving back to the community in each of its members. Break Down the Walls

Everyone from UNF is invited to this group. This is really just a way of joining the body of Christ together. UNF Break Down the Walls will be responsible for planning and implementing outreach, prayer, and worship events for the entire campus community to enjoy.The FB group acts as a resource for people to post ideas, prayer meetings, events, hangouts, and whatever God lays on their hearts. We can be such an amazing force together as the body. By no means is this to recruit people to leave other campus ministries, but to unite outside of our group meetings and run alongside each other in the race that Christ has marked out for us!!!

Chamber Singers

The Chamber Singers Club is an ensemble comprised of singers who perform challenging repertoire drawn from diverse styles and time periods. The group rehearses twice per week and performs around ten concerts throughout the academic year both on and off campus. This group is frequently seen performing at numerous campus functions, civic occasions and society events and represents the University as a recruitment tool. Participation in Chamber Singers demands a high level of excellence, enthusiasm and dedication in ensemble singing.

Chi Sigma Iota

CSI is an international honor society that values academic and professional excellence in counseling. We promote a strong professional identity through members (professional counselors, counselor educators, and students) who contribute to the realization of a healthy society by fostering wellness and human dignity.

Chinese Culture Club

The Chinese Culture Club is one of the coolest organizations on campus. We are comprised of over 100 members, and we pride ourselves on the many ethnic events we hold or participate each semester. We do everything from eating dim sum (dumplings!) to participating in festivals. Our big events throughout the year are mainly: Lunar New Year and the Autumn Moon Festival (a.k.a. mooncake festival). The Chinese Culture Club is also happy to be able to bring many of China's and other Asian countries' traditions and celebrations to UNF for students to experience. Such events are not only lots of fun, but they are very insightful too. We hope you will join us and not miss out on the experiences of a lifetime!

Chorale Club

The UNF Chorale is a mixed choral ensemble open to any UNF student who enjoys singing and has prior musical experience. The Chorale rehearses twice weekly and performs up to 4 concerts per semester. Gathering enthusiastic singers from every college across the University, the 60-80 member student group performs music from World Music to “Classical” Music to recent compositions as well as larger choral-orchestral masterworks.

he purpose of Christians on Campus is to explore the deeper truths of the Bible concerning: the meaning of human life, God's purpose for man, and his plan to carry out that purpose through the increase and spread of His divine life, by proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Club Soccer

The purpose is to take talented soccer players to the college club soccer level. Our goal is to win a national championship and to put UNF on the map. We surprised teams in the spring and we plan to make our voice a lot louder in the upcoming year, and years beyond.

Community Connections in Psychology

Community Connections (CCP) strives to serve as bridge between the UNF psychology department and the community through research, community based learning, and services. CCP is a place where ideas are generated, civic responsibility is fostered, and collaborative efforts with the community are realized. It is also a potent resource and provides direction in best practices for faculty and students who would like to reach out to the community.

We are the student leadership advisory board representing most of the Christian Ministries on campus to help activate Christ-centered students to join staff with their respective ministries.

Couture Helps Inspire Charity

Couture Helps Inspire Charity is an organization for UNF students who share an interest in fashion, style, and design.

Dance Marathon

Dance Marathon at UNF is a part of a nationwide movement involving college and high school students across the country, all raising money for the Children's Miracle Network hospital in their community. Students spend a year learning invaluable leadership and life skills while raising funds and interacting with the children's hospital patients and families. The year cumulates with an event in event in which students stay on their feet through dancing, games, and entertainment in celebration of the total raised that year.

Delta Sigma Pi

Delta Sigma Pi is a professional fraternity organized to foster the study of business in universities; to encourage scholarship, social activity and the association of students for their mutual advancement by research and practice; to promote closer affiliation between the commercial world and students of commerce, and to further a higher standard of commercial ethics and culture and the civic and commercial welfare of the community.

Design Build Institute America

DBIA Student Chapters are dedicated to promoting widespread and successful utilization of the design-build project delivery method in shaping the built environment. To accomplish this goal, they are committed to fostering interdisciplinary education and communication relative to integrated facilities delivery.


Divest UNF is a student led initiative to divest the university's endowment from dirty fossil fuels.

UNF has publicly “committed to values that promote the welfare and positive transformation of individuals, communities, and societies.” These values include, “The pursuit of truth and knowledge carried out in the spirit of intellectual and artistic freedom; Ethical conduct; Community engagement; Diversity; Responsibility to the natural environment; and Mutual respect and civility." Divest UNF seeks an alignment between these values and university endowment funds.

Divest UNF asserts, “If it is wrong to wreck the climate, then it is wrong to profit from that wreckage. We believe that educational and other institutions that serve the public good should divest from fossil fuels.”

Doctor Who University

 The purpose of Doctor Who University is to promote a sense of friendship, community, and volunteerism through the values, themes, and ambitions as shown in the British TV Show Doctor Who.


Dominus ex Genesis

To teach first year engineering-interested students in CAD and manufacturing preliminary engineering techniques needed for higher level Engineering. We are going to collaborate in making projects of robotic devices of varying natures to teach understanding of these techniques. We then hope to enter student competitions in order to put student learning into practice. We want to engage first and second year students and build prerequisite for upper level engineering students. And thus increase the retention rate of incoming engineering freshmen.
We will operate much like a startup company in that we will develop designs and proposal and seek funding in order to implement the designs with measured results. In the process we will teach project management, project planning, how to function on an interdisciplinary team, and later incorporate a business management plan for lengthier projects.

Eco Club

The ECO CLUB is designed to form a community of UNF students that share similar interests in being outdoors and eco friendly. Our goal is to protect and preserve the natural environment on campus and in our community. Our club is unique in that it organizes and promotes plenty of outdoor activities that are not only social but also adventurous. The Eco Club will benefit students physically and mentally, expand their eco-consciousness, and develop leadership skills.

Economics Society

The purpose of Economic society is to foster interest in all facets of economics, both theoretical and practical. The intent of the society is not only to serve potential future economists in their academic and per-professional needs, but also to allow interested students who are not pursuing a career in economics to understand the impact that economics has on day-to-day living. 

EDM Alliance

The purpose of this organization is for DJs, producers, and fans of electronic music to come together and share ideas. We are also here to help teach people how to make music, mix live, get into the music and radio business, etc.


UNF Enactus is a community of students, academic and business leaders committed to using the power of entrepreneurial action to enable human progress. UNF Enactus students apply business concepts to develop community outreach projects, transform lives and shape a better, more sustainable world.

 The purpose of EWB-UNF is to partner with disadvantaged communities to improve their quality of life through implementation of environmentally equitable and economically sustainable engineering projects.

Entrepreneur Society

The Entrepreneur Society at UNF is here to bring the entrepreneurial minds of the University of North Florida together to collaborate and expand their minds on the topic of entrepreneurship.

Equestrian Club & Team

The University of North Florida Equestrian team is a newly formed program striving to promote good horsemanship. The team is dedicated to serving the University and the Jacksonville horse community by providing opportunities for our members to give back and the opportunity for horse showing on the collegiate level.

Our goal is to provide horse lovers with opportunities they might not otherwise get. We want to build school spirit and obtain a more connected student body. Our hope is to build confidence and inspire students to strive to reach their goals through their best efforts and enhance the college experience.

Eta Kappa Nu

The UNF Chapter of Eta Kappa Nu is a honors society for Electrical Engineering students, who's members provided services/aid to the students, college, and university.

Eta Sigma Gamma

Eta Sigma Gamma is a National Health Education Honorary. The Alpha Gamma Chapter is composed of undergraduates and graduate level students that are interested in health education and health promotion. Here at UNF, Eta Sigma Gamma provides students with opportunities for practical application of health education and health promotion through activities related to their field of study.

Exercise Science Student Association

The purpose of ESSA is to bring health and wellbeing through the study of movement to students and the community around us. We strive to introduce the concept of how exercise can benefit an individual in many different ways.

FACES Modeling Troupe, Inc.

To introduce the many aspects of the modeling industry using specialized photography, innovative fashion, unique runway modeling techniques and mechanics, community service, and health awareness for its members and the surrounding community; hoping to enhance each individual's knowledge of a professional modeling experience.

Filipino Student Association

The purposes of this organization are:

A) To promote the culture and heritage of the Philippines.

B) To assist members in achieving a better understanding of the Philippines.

C) To provide a social atmosphere for all FSA members.

D) To be active in the community.

Activities such as meeting. social activities. and various cultural activities (e.g. dancing performances) shall be sponsored by this organization. Such activities may be financed by existing FSA funds. fundraising activities. and donations.

Finance and Investment Society

The Finance and Investment Society (FIS) is an organization for University of North Florida students interested in acquiring knowledge about banking, finance, and investment topics. The society offers many activities during the year including luncheons with various speakers, community service & fundraising events, socials and an annual banquet. FIS is poised to continue bridging the gap between local and regional finance professionals, and UNF students interested in the field.

The purposes of the organization are as follows:

1. To promote and defend the professional interests of all engineers in the state of Florida.

2. To benefit the membership of the Organization by providing an exchange of ideas, a

common meeting ground for understanding, cooperation and education opportunity to

keep abreast of development in all engineering disciplines.

3. To promote interaction with professionals within the engineering industry and other

organizations throughout northeast Florida.

4. To undertake such programs and activities as may be proper to promote and enhance

educational development and licensure.

The purpose of the Forensic Science Club is to bring together students at the University of North Florida who are interested in any of the forensic sciences with members of the Jacksonville community who are currently engaged in a career in any forensic science, part of a forensic science organization, or have a degree in a forensic science. The Forensic Science club seeks to bring all students who are interested in forensic science to a common group. The FSC wishes to do this to help bring new educational information about a student’s interest in a forensic science career to the table, to have presenters and professional members of the community come in to discuss current topics or career options, and to bring the UNF Staff who have a background or interest in forensic science together also. We wish to create an educational and interesting environment where students can come to learn more, interact with other students with similar majors, give back to their community, and create programs that will be beneficial to their future plans.

Freethought Society of UNF

The mission of the Free Thought Society of UNF (FTS) is as follows:
A. To promote logic, reason, and the use of the scientific method as the means for understanding the world around us.
B. To provide a social and intellectual community for non-believers and freethinkers on the campus of UNF.
C. To defend and promote the First Amendment clause that prevents the establishment of a particular religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.
D. To educate the public about non-theists and the importance of church-state separation.

Gaming and Application Development

The club will promote meetings, discussions, and competitions in gaming, application development, and computer programming languages. The goal will be to provide opportunities to UNF students that increase their awareness and communication in these areas of computer technology.

Grace Campus Ministries

We are a ministry of Grace Community Church in Mandarin. As an extension of the church, we pursue the glory of God by making disciples and biblically shepherding them to love Jesus Christ and live His truth.

Graduate Business Society

The purpose of the club is to enhance the value of students’ participation in the Coggin College of Business graduate program through various events and experiences.

Graduate Psychology Organization

The purpose of the UNF Graduate Psychology Organization is comprised of the following components: 1) To facilitate networking and promote group cohesion and bonding among both first and second-year cohorts of the Masters of Arts in General Psychology Program via social events and team-building exercises. 2) To serve the greater community by volunteering with local charities and non-profit organizations as well as raising funds and essential items for those in need. 3) To facilitate in pursuing academic goals and professional development for both graduate and undergraduate psychology students. For graduate psychology students, this will include organizing study groups for classes, preparing for conferences, and assisting each other with theses projects, and accumulating a database of information regarding scholarships, job opportunities, and PhD programs. For undergraduate psychology students this will include mentoring or advising undergraduate psychology majors in developing their identities in the psychological sciences and serving as an accessible resource to undergraduate psychology majors and prospective psychology graduate students. 4) To establish a presence and voice for the psychology graduate program in the community and on campus.

The graduate students of the University of North Florida, in an attempt to form a more sound organization, establish justice, insure academic tranquility, provide for the common student, and promote general welfare do establish this Constitution for the Graduate Student Organization.

Haunted Consoles

The purpose of Haunted Consoles is to provide the students of UNF with an outlet in which to have fun, meet new people, and work towards stress relief by playing games in the horror genre.

Health Administration Student Association

The Health Administration Student Association (HASA) is the University of North Florida’s student chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). We partner with ACHE and Jacksonville’s vibrant healthcare community to give members ample opportunities to apply what they learn in the classroom to real healthcare settings. The objectives of our organization are to provide students with opportunities to network with area healthcare leaders both on campus during meetings and off campus at field trips, to provide students with leadership opportunities and to raise funds to further develop members through attendance at the American College of Healthcare Executives Annual Congress on Healthcare Leadership.

Integrative Health Promotions

The purpose of Integrative Health Promotions is to provide interdisciplinary exposure for students with interests in any and all healing modalities to include traditional, alternative, and complimentary medicines and therapies. Integrative Health Promotions will provide opportunities for networking, collaboration, leadership, learning, developing critical thinking skills, and mind-opening experiences through investigation, experience, and connections with professionals practicing in such areas.

International Languages Club

The International Language Club aims to provide an environment for the learning of foreign languages. It is a club in which members collaborate to work on their skills in their chosen language(s) of study.

International Student Association

To increase diversity through programs and events that showcase a culturally enriched environment and traditions of International Students and keeping all channels of communication open in order to promote a global learning environment.

International Youth Fellowship

 The purpose of IYF is to bring today’s youth together and promote intellectual, spiritual, emotional and social growth in the university students through different activities including cultural diversity programs, volunteer promotions, free classes and leadership mind lectures . Krishna Club

Krishna Club is a community of people at the University of North Florida who love coming together to grow in spiritual life and have FUN. This organization is for EVERYONE, is not sectarian, and provides an open atmosphere for spiritual exploration and discussion. Our overall purpose is to learn, share, and apply the practices of bhakti yoga (linking to God through devotion) to develop our personal spiritual lives. Club meetings generally involve kirtan (musical meditation), readings from prominent Vedic texts such as Bhagavad-Gita As It Is, and discussion of spiritual concepts such as karma, yoga, self-realization, and God-realization. Sharing sanctified vegetarian food is an important part of our practice; therefore we often bring food to club meetings. Krishna Club also facilitates the exploration of Vedic culture, and is affiliated with the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON).

Latin American Student Organization

LASO is an environment to encourage relationships and growth between UNF and North Florida's Latin-American Community. It will develop and carry out projects that benefit the Latin-American community at UNF and in Jacksonville.

Mathematics and Statistics Club

The Mathematics and Statistics Club is a non-secret organization whose purpose is the promotion of scholarly activities in mathematics and statistics among students at UNF and surrounding academic institutions and businesses. The club shall accomplish this by:

(1)Engaging in activities designed to promote the mathematical/statistical and scholarly development of its member,

(2)Sponsoring talks, competitions and volunteerism that further the purpose above stated.

Medical Laboratory Science Society

Medical Laboratory Science is a creative, science-based profession that is critical to the maintenance of health and to the diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of disease. The Medical Lab Science Society at UNF is interested in developing the social, educational, and cultural development of its members. We are devoted to learning about the field of Medical Laboratory Science by sharing with others about our profession and making a difference in the community. The MLS Society brings students together to learn from the experiences of speakers, community projects (both scientific and social), support of the UNF Medical Laboratory Science program and student advocacy for the profession. Anyone interested in the field of Medical Laboratory Sciences are encouraged to join.


 MEDLIFE is a secular, volunteer-run global health organization whose mission is to help families achieve greater freedom from the constraints of poverty, empowering them to live healthier lives. Our patients did not choose to be poor, but they do choose to strive for a better life. MEDLIFE stands beside them in this pursuit. We seek to achieve this goal through partnering with motivated individuals from poor communities working to improve their access to MEDs: Medicine, Education and community Development. MEDLIFE believes access to quality healthcare, education and personal development are basic human rights. To this end, we commit all our resources to bring Medicine, Education and Development to Low Income Families Everywhere. Along with affiliate chapters, MEDLIFE UNF raises money for medicine, education and community development projects for low-income families in South America; actively learns about and increases awareness of inequality in global healthcare; and works to promote the highest standard of MEDLIFE's goals and reputation within the community.

Men's Chorus

The UNF Men's Chorus is an auditioned ensemble that emphasizes performance and student leadership. Participation in this club encourages commitment, dedication, and personal growth as musicians and performers. This ensemble meets once a week to rehearse, and students have the opportunity to conduct and arrange for the group. Their repertoire is innovative, traditional, and fun, cutting across the genres of Barbershop, R&B, Doo-Wop, World Music, and Classical Music.

Mock Trial

The University of North Florida Mock Trial Organization's mission is to empower undergraduate students, who are seeking knowledge and experience relating to a career in practicing law, with a basic, general, and practical understanding of courtroom litigation.

Model United Nations

Model UN is an intercollegiate simulation of the United Nations and other international policymaking institutions. Model UN improves student's awareness of International Relations, Political Science, and History, and challenges their skills in public speaking, communication, research, and diplomacy. We successfully represent UNF across the country in regional and national competitions.

Music Theater Performers

With no audition or previous experience required, the purpose of this group is to give students an appreciation of musical theater and other forms of staged theater. Through games, workshops, and solo and group musical numbers in a constructive setting with no pressure students can learn the basics of musical theater singing, acting, and dance.

Muslim Student Association

The aims of the Muslim Student Association are to strengthen the bonds between its members, to advance and represent the social, moral, and intellectual standards of Islam, and to promote the understanding of Islam while bettering ourselves in the process.

The mission of the National Association of the Advancement of Colored People is to ensure the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights of all people and to eliminate racial hatred and racial discrimination.

The mission of the National Association of Black Accountants is to address the professional needs of its members and to build leaders that shape the future of the accounting and finance professions with an unfaltering commitment to inspire the same in its successors.

The purpose of this organization is to recognize high academic achievement among first and second year college students, encourage and promote high standards among collegiate scholars, provide opportunities for personal growth and leadership development, to provide scholarships, to organize and encourage learning opportunities through community service, to foster an appreciation for the value of the higher education experience, and to continue to uphold the standards as determined by the Association of College Honor Societies.

The Orthodox Christian Fellowship (OCF) is the official collegiate campus ministry program under SCOBA (the Standing Conference of Canonical Orthodox Bishops in the Americas). Our mission is to support fellowships on college campuses, whose members experience and witness to the Orthodox Christian Church through community life, prayer, service to others and study of the Faith.

Osprey Cuong Nhu

The Osprey Cuong Nhu Club is the rebirth of the grand Osprey Dojo (reborn as the Black Talon Dojo) that formed at UNF several years ago. Cuong Nhu is an oriental martial arts style that fuses the “hard” and “soft” techniques of many styles to create one versatile martial art. The seven blends of styles included in Cuong Nhu are Shotokan Karate, Aikido, Judo, Boxing, Tai Chi Chuan, Vovinam, and Wing Chun. The style primarily strives for self-improvement in the students’ mind, body, spirit, and to condition students to adapt to changing circumstances (varying body sizes, heights, and attacks). Come to the Black Talon Dojo to engage in training sessions that encompass learning self-defense techniques, strikes, various katas, rolling, and weapons! Cuong Nhu is a national organization and welcomes anyone to become part of the family. The Osprey Cuong Nhu Club meets every Tuesday and Thursday at 6:30 until 8:00 in the mirror room of the second floor in the Arena. Train with us in the Black Talon Dojo!

We are a group that each year designs, builds, and races a formula style car against 120 international teams. The competition we gear up for each year has a design, cost, business/finance, and racing segments which all give us points to compete against the top engineering schools in the world. The main result is providing students with hands on experience in many different areas.

Osprey South Asian Association

The Primary purpose of this organization is to unite students from South Asian origin and to facilitate a cultral exchange.

The purpose of Osprey Volunteers is to work together to make a difference in the community on and off campus with hands-on meaningful volunteer opportunities, events and the sharing of ideas about how we can continue to make positive strides in the community.  Students can come to meeting to learn about all of the needs in the community for that month, speak with the UNF Volunteer Coordinator, and learn about the importance of volunteerism.

Osprey Women's Chorale


The UNF Women’s Chorale is open to experienced student singers who enjoy part-singing, and offers a unique experience performing within a small, all-female vocal ensemble. The group’s repertoire is drawn from a broad range of styles, from world music to madrigals, pop and show tunes to spirituals. This ensemble meets once a week to rehearse and students have the opportunity to choose repertoire, conduct and arrange for the group.


Ospreys for Jax

The purpose of this club is to raise awareness and ease the transition of local refugees in conjunction with the UNF Honors Program by finding and promoting volunteer opportunities within the community for all UNF students.

Pagan Alliance

The purpose of the Pagan Alliance is to provide discussion groups, seasonal observance ceremonies, and facilitate service learning opportunities for those of an Earth Centered spiritual persuasion and their kindred.

Paint Guild

The purpose of Paint Guild is to bring our artists together to learn from one another and build a stronger art community and representation for UNF’s painters.

Paintball Club

The purpose of the UNF paintball club is to both compete at a professional level against other paintball clubs around the country and also to take new players out to experience paintball in a relaxed setting.

Phi Alpha Delta is a professional law fraternity consisting of both law and pre-law chapters. Philosophy Club

The Philosophy Club of the University of North Florida is open to all interested in philosophy, but especially to University of North Florida students majoring, minoring, or pursuing graduate studies in philosophy. It aims to facilitate discussions about life's big questions in a comfortable and informal setting. The club also provides a forum for undergraduate and graduate students to present their work and receive critical feedback from their peers.

Potter's Guild

The purpose of the UNF Potters' Guild is to increase the visibility and strengthen the ceramic community through various activities including but not limited to: annual service projects, visiting artists workshops, national conference attendance and semi annual pottery sales.

Pre-Dental Society

We are interested in accommodating all students that are interested in the Dental Field. We want to ensure that each member receives all the information and advice needed in order to achieve acceptance into dental school. We will do our part as long as each students does there part, through attendance and dedication to this club. 

Pre-Pharmacy Club

University of North Florida Pre-Pharmacy Club is a unifying organization which aids prospective Pharmacy students discussing specific issues regarding their future careers. Dr. Amy Lane, Assistant Professor from the Chemistry department is the club adviser.

Objectives of our club include, but are not limited to:

Specific discussion and preparation for the pharmacy Admission Test (PCAT).

Opportunities for students to communicate ideas, share information about test preparation methods, and offer peer to peer tutoring sessions.

Receive feedback from upper level students who have taken the PCAT.

Creating shadowing and volunteer opportunities for all UNF pre-pharmacy club members.

Pharmacists around the city will be offering shadowing/volunteer opportunities.

Pharmacy related volunteer activities in pharmacy companies around the city.

Meetings will be held with speakers from universities around the country (such as UF, Auburn, etc).

Information will be provided about the admission process,

academic requirements, faculty, classes, and facilities of the different universities.

Other insights to increase the chances of getting accepted into desired schools and succeeding in the field of pharmacy (e.g. PCAT Kaplan Course, Paid Internship Opportunities, etc.)

Our objective as the Pre-Physician Assistant Club is to create an engaging learning environment, where students will gain complete competency of the profession. Members will develop pertinent skills and be armed with a comprehensive knowledge of the process that is applying and being admitted into P.A school. This will be accomplished through educational workshops, presentations from well renowned speakers, group discussions, individual assessment of needs, community involvement, networking socials and other health related philanthropic events.

The primary purpose of this organization is to meet the needs of the student population on issues of sexual orientation and gender identity. The goals of this club are raising awareness and sensitivity to LGBTQ issues at UNF, providing an open and accepting atmosphere on campus, establishing a social club for LGBTQ students and their allies, as well as developing a relationship with the student body and student government. These goals shall be achieved through social events such as game events, drag shows, movie nights, et al. This organization shall be not-for-profit and non-commercial in nature.

The objective of the Printmaking Guild is to facilitate community and stimulate innovation in the work of art students, and to introduce an implementation of art and printmaking in the general student body.

The Public Relations Student Society of America is the foremost organization for students interested in public relations and communications. We seek to advance the public relations profession by nurturing generations of future professionals. We advocate rigorous academic standards for public relations education, the highest ethical principles and diversity in the profession. Our chapter hosts events to connect students with local professionals and enhance their knowledge of the public relations field.

The UNF Rock Climbing Club was founded as a group of students who want to help others learn to climb better, either recreationally or competitively. As a club, we provide support and encouragement for all levels of climbing, as well as a friendly atmosphere to just hang out and have fun. We have over 60 members, most of which show up to our weekly practice at The Osprey Cliff, and all of whom are willing to welcome into our fold any and all who are interested in climbing, or just want a great group of close knit friends!

This group is for live action role players and table top gamers to come together in a safe, non-discriminatory environment.

UNF Rotaract club strives to make a difference in the community and reaches out to raise money for International projects as well. Our motto is "service above self". We are connected to the Rotary organization which helps in many efforts worldwide. We also help local high school Interact clubs on their projects. We are a very diverse club with many different majors and backgrounds, but we all come together for our love of service!



The purpose of this organization is to bring together experienced and inexperienced individuals to learn, play and be a part of rugby. UNF Rugby will provide a hardworking environment for members to learn the basic concepts of sportsmanship and teamwork.

UNF Sculpture Guild is a little more than a group or a club. We are a family of sculptors bound by rust, sweat, sparks, and sawdust. Silent Osprey

The purpose of the UNF ASL Club is to raise awareness of American Sign Language and promote the understanding of Deaf culture. Our goal is to connect with our local Deaf/Hard of hearing/ASL organizations and team together to expand our community.

Skeet, Trap and Sporting Clays

The purpose of the University of North Florida Skeet, Trap & Sporting Clays Club is to offer UNF Students the opportunity to participate in recreational and competitive clay shooting activities. The following are club rules and guidelines designed to ensure each member will have the opportunity to participate in a safe and successful shooting venue. Each prospective and current member is expected to abide by the rules/guidelines set forth or will be subject to dismissal from the shooting club and relinquish all shooting privileges.

Skim Club

The purpose of this club will be to promote the sport of skimboarding and to foster social interaction and provide a community among UNF students of all ages and skill levels with a common interest in the sport of skim boarding. To fulfill this purpose, skimboarding movie nights and club outings to the beach will be held, as well as skim clinics for beginner club members. Beach clean up days and barbeques will also take place. This organization is not for profit, and non-commercial.

Ths Space Hardware Club at UNF is an umbrella club for projects like: microgravity flights with NASA, cubesat, model rocketry, sending weather balloons up with payloads, aerospace-related competitions (such as FUNSAT, Robotic Mining, Moon Buggy, Hybrid Rocket, and more!).

We are also a club that is actively trying to form partnerships with NASA and other aerospace companies for projects, mentorships, internships and more.

Student Florida Education Association (Form. SNEA)

The Student Florida Education Association's goal is to facilitate interest in young adults interested in education. Opportunities for developing personal growth and professional competence necessary for the teaching profession will be provided. Also provided are opportunities for gaining an understanding of the history, ethics, and programs of the education profession, and opportunities for participating in cooperative work on the problems of the profession and the community. Professional membership in the SFEA can be achieved at the local, state, and national levels during the preparation period for a career in education. Lastly, we strive for higher standards of preparation and promote student advocacy. 

Student Leadership Advisory Board

The Student Leadership Advisory Board (SLAB) exists to serve the student body by working closely with the dean of the Coggin College of Business (CCB) and advising clubs within the CCB on internal matters. SLAB seeks to strengthen communication and cooperation among the organizations and students within the CCB. In doing so, SLAB helps to advance student interests within the CCB and encourages the same throughout the University.

The purpose of SNA is to mentor the professional development of future registered nurses and facilitate their entrance into the profession by providing educational resources, leadership opportunities, and career guidance. It also provides resources to the community in the forms of donations and volunteerism to specific organizations in the community.

Student United Way

The Student United Way helps UNF students build bridges with the greater Jacksonville community. The club functions as the UNF branch of the United Way of Northeast Florida whose mission is to provide leadership, resources and focus to improve lives in their community by creating sustainable improvements in education, income and health. 

Student Veterans of America

The mission of the Student Veterans of America-University of North Florida Chapter is to advocate for the collective interests of all student veterans of the armed forces and those who support them. Goals Generally promote communication and interaction among veterans in order to encourage veterans helping veterans.Sponsor organizational operations that promote veterans helping veterans and social events and networking opportunities that include family, loved ones, and veteran supporters.Plan and support events that will aid in the recognition of student veterans.

Students for Sensible Drug Policy

"Students for Sensible Drug Policy is an international grassroots network of students who are concerned about the impact drug abuse has on our communities, but who also know that the War on Drugs is failing our generation and our society.
SSDP mobilizes and empowers young people to participate in the political process, pushing for sensible policies to achieve a safer and more just future, while fighting back against counterproductive Drug War policies, particularly those that directly harm students and youth."

As students at the University of North Florida, and members of the Jacksonville community at large, it is imperative that we take a stance against any ideas or policies that directly harm students or interfere with a young person’s potential to attend and succeed at university.



 The purpose of The Surfrider Foundation: University of North Florida Club is to protect and promote the beautiful environment that North Florida has to offer. We will do this through our partnerships with the global Surfrider Foundation, as well as our local Surfrider Foundation Chapter, the First Coast, and we will partake in activities such as, but not limited to beach cleanups, intracoastal cleanups, campus cleanups and reducing single use plastic consumption in our local community and around the UNF campus.


Swoop for Disney

 The purpose of Swoop for Disney is to have friends get together to enjoy the art of Disney animation, and to raise funds for children who can’t afford trips to Disney, or sick children in the Nemours hospital.

Table Tennis Club

To play, train, and eventually compete in table tennis at a high level.


The TeleRobotics Club exists to bring together students at UNF who are interested in getting hands-on experience by learning to remotely control robots and machines using a graphical user interface and live streaming video at a great distances.

The Future Networkers of America

What this club is all about is a group of students joined together, not through similar beliefs, but by the simple will to influence the community within UNF and the great city of Jacksonville. By priding ourselves in diverse ideas and opinions we come together to debate on past, present, and future writings, sayings, and actions of all kinds. From literature, to politics, to sports, it doesn't matter; we pick the best of our topics and debate. We then take these topics and apply them to our life styles and actions to directly or indirectly influence issues that are occurring around us. By debating these topics by incorporating different angels of our students, we will be able to determine what is a necessary action and accurate angle to which we all agree to act. This opens doors for our networking throughout a large variety of businesses and people here in Jacksonville and opens up a great opportunity for networking ourselves and our ideas.

The UNF Biology Club promotes an academically-based, friendly biological community. As a club our goals are to encourage the social interactions of students in the biological studies and compliment their learning experience at UNF, to provide extra-curricular recreational, social and educational activities for all members and to provide a channel for communication and exchange of ideas with biology related programs, organizations and professionals.


TOMS is a for-profit company based in Santa Monica, California. The purpose of TOMS is that when TOMS sells a pair of shoes, a pair of shoes is given to an impoverished child, and when Toms sells a pair of eyewear, part of the profit is used to save or restore the eyesight for people in developing countries. Creating a better world for us to live in.

The UNF Triathlon Club is a dedicated group of dedicated student athletes who come from multiple backgroundsand sports. TCC has built its guiding to share a general knowledge of the language, history, culture, and social life of Turkey. TCC will bring together people of different cultures, races, faiths and backgrounds through mutual understanding and continuous dialogue. We will encourage and strengthen cultural relations and educational ties between Turkish-American and American people. TCC will support activities that provide better service to humanity.

U.S. Green Building Council Student Chapter

The purpose of the USGBC Student Chapter at the University of North Florida is to provide students and young professionals’ accessible resources for integration into the growing green building industry as active and qualified employees and professionals.

Women's Chorus

The UNF Women’s Chorus is open to experienced student singers who enjoy part-singing in the treble range, and offers a unique experience performing within an all-female vocal ensemble. The group’s repertoire is drawn from a broad range of styles, from classical to world music, pop and show tunes to spirituals. This ensemble meets twice a week to rehearse, and students occasionally have the opportunity to choose repertoire, conduct warmups and arrange for the group.
