2013 Week of Welcome (WOW) Leaders
WOW leaders establish a welcoming environment for our new students! A WOW Leader promotes University of North Florida school spirit and advances the UNF Values. The University of North Florida is committed to values that promote the welfare and positive transformation of individuals, communities, and societies. We value:

Position Description & Responsibilities
As a WOW Leader, you will be able to assist our new students in creating a successful educational environment in which they will thrive. Responsibilities include:
- Participate in spring training
- Work cooperatively with Orientation Team Leaders and Resident Advisors
- Correspond with a small group of new students during summer 2013
- Participate in fall training Wednesday, August 21 and Thursday, August 22, 2013
- Promote and attend Week of Welcome Activities Friday, August 23 — Sunday, August 31, 2013
- Facilitate small group discussions during WOW on the UNF Values, UNF Reads selective reading, and campus life
- Serve as a team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude
Other responsibilities include: promoting and helping with WOW registration and working on special projects. WOW Leaders must have strong verbal communication skills and be able to show their enthusiasm morning, noon, and night. WOW Leaders epitomize UNF school spirit and serve as positive role models.
