Assistant Director
April Chamberlin
a.chamberlin@unf.edu
April recently joined UNF in 2013 but she has worked in Higher Education for over 15 years. She began her career advising students at the University of Utah in 1993. It was the students she advised that convinced her to go back to school where she was awarded both her undergraduate degrees in Speech Communication and Political Science in 2001. After graduating, she moved to Florida and worked at two universities in the office of Undergraduate Admissions/Recruitment, and in the Dean of the College of Fine Arts. She took a break from in higher education for personal reasons and it was during this five year break that she realized her love and passion was advising and working with students. She is student-centered and enjoys learning from and assisting them as they negotiate college life and looks forward to this opportunity to assist.
