Executive Cabinet

The purpose of the Executive Cabinet is to advise the President and Vice-President on general matters and to assist in the coordination of the Executive Branch. The main duties of the Cabinet are to complete any initiatives, projects, events, and others deemed necessary by the President.

Joseph Christopher Turner was born in Jacksonville, Florida but grew up in South Florida where he attended St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic High School. Joseph started at UNF in the fall of 2012 and on his first day of class he came before Senate to begin his appointment process to the Student Senate. A few months after his appointment, he was elected by his peers to the position of Senate Parliamentarian. His diligent work within Senate earned him the honor of ‘Outstanding Senator of the Year’. Former President Matthew Brockelman appointed Joseph to the office of Attorney General in February 2012. He currently holds the same position within the Fassi-Naughton administration. Joseph cares deeply for the University of North Florida and hopes to continue to serve students throughout his time here. Joseph is majoring in Finance and hopes to continue onto law school after he graduates UNF.
