Executive Branch

The Executive Branch works to address student concerns on campus. Members of the Executive Branch help the student body in multiple ways. Their duties include serving on university committees, speaking at events, working with athletes, Greek and other groups and organizations, as well as coordinating activities for students. The Executive Branch is comprised of the Student Body President, Student Body Vice President, Executive Cabinet and Executive Agencies.

Joseph Turner was born in Jacksonville, Florida but grew up in South Florida. He attended St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic High School in Ft. Lauderdale and graduated in 2011. Joseph returned to Jacksonville to attend the University of North Florida, and is currently enrolled as a double major in Finance and Economics.  Joseph serves as Student Body President of the University and has been involved in Student Government since his very first day of class. He served as a Senator, Senate Parliamentarian, Attorney General and Student Body Treasurer. Joseph hopes to make the most of his time at UNF bettering the Osprey experience, promoting a high value degree and giving students the results they deserve.

Christopher grew up in Longwood, Florida and graduated from Lake Brantley High School in 2011. He is a double major in Finance and Economics and a proud Coggin College of Business student. Christopher has served in a multitude of roles in Student Government and in other campus organizations such as Senate President, Budget & Allocations Chairman, and IFC President. Christopher came to UNF with the goal of leaving the university a better place – as Student Body Vice President he is doing just that.
