About the Book
Outcasts United
UNF has selected Outcasts United: An American Town, a Refugee Team, and One Woman's Quest to Make a Difference by Warren St. John as the book selection for the 4th annual UNF Reads! program. Outcasts United is a book that students should find interesting and engaging. It is the story of a refugee soccer team, a remarkable woman coach and a small southern town turned upside down by the process of refugee resettlement.
