Student Affairs Scholarships 

The Division of Student Affairs realizes there can be more a meaningful college experience through financial scholarships. The hope is to assist a student who is currently working to have more time to study and be in the classroom. In pursuit of this goal, Student Affairs makes available scholarships to students seeking to enrich their academic enrichment, and fulfill their dreams of a bachelor’s degree.


Applications are now being accepted for the following scholarships:

  • Taylor Leadership Institute Student Leadership Scholarship
  • Parents Association Endowed Scholarship
  • Friends of Student Affairs Community Council Endowed Scholarship
  • Gandhi Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Cindy Alderson Veteran's Scholarships 

Award: One (1) recipient will be awarded $2,000, paid half in the fall, half in the spring terms.


Deadline: Continue to monitor the website for scholarship updates



  • Enrolled in a minimum of six credit-hours each term, Fall 2014 and Spring 2015 at UNF,
  • Must be a veteran with an honorable discharge,
  • Has cumulative GPA of 3.0, minimum, and
  • Receives no other Student Government competitive scholarship (click here to see other SG scholarships).

Michael & Kim Ward First Generation Scholarships

 Award:      $2000.00 per recipient



Deadline:   Continue to monitor the website for scholarship updates


Eligibility: - Student must be first in immediate family (mother & father) to pursue a bachelor's degree.

                     - Student must be a veteran with an honorable discharge 

                     - Be accepted to UNF

                     - Florida resident

                     - Minimum GPA of 2.0

                     - Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and Qualify for Federal Pell Grant

                     - Demonstrate Financial Need

                     - Be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours
