Mobile Vet Centers are community-based counseling centers that provide a broad range of services to assist in readjusting to civilian life. They provide services to veterans and servicemembers who have served in a war zone or area of hostility and their families. Vet Center services are also extended to family members who experienced an active duty death (bereavement counseling) and veterans of any era who have experienced any form of military sexual trauma or harassment.
- Individual counseling
- Group counseling
- Marital and family counseling for issues related to the readjustment of the veteran
- Bereavement counseling for families who experience an active duty death
- Medical referrals
- VBA benefits explanation and referral
- Employment counseling, guidance and referrals
- Alcohol/substance abuse assessments and referrals
- Information and referral to community resources
- Military sexual trauma counseling and referral
- Outreach and community education

In honor of your hard work, the Military & Veterans Resource Center would like to present graduating active duty military, ROTC, veterans and reservists with a special red, white and blue graduate cord! Cords will be presented to you during a recognition ceremony on Friday, November 18 at 12:00 p.m. in the Talon Room (Bldg. 16, Osprey Commons, 4th Floor). Family and friends are welcome to attend and celebrate your achievement with us, and refreshments will be provided. There is no charge for a cord, but you must RSVP to reserve one!
