Our events are open to everyone! Come visit our table at the annual Pride Fest! After marching in the parade on Saturday, we will be setting up at the Riverside Arts Market on Sunday with goodies and information for our visitors.

#TFWednesday, a monthly lunchtime dialogue, partners the LGBT Resource Center, the Interfaith Center and the Student Alliance for Inclusion and Diversity (SAID) together to check out how identities of race, religion, gender, sexuality and culture intersect in pop culture through movies, TV shows, memes and other forms of consumable media. How do these depictions differ from real life? How are they similar? Does it matter? Join us for conversations about the identities and the media that impacts you!

Participants will learn basic LGBT terminology, become aware of the challenges that LGBT students may face, be introduced to resources, dialogue on strategies to create a more LGBT-inclusive campus, and ask questions throughout. Attendees receive a Safe Space sticker upon completion. This training is part of the Student Affairs Cultural Competency Pursuit but may also be taken separately and has no pre-requisites.
