Beaches

Just 10 minutes from campus there are several beaches: Jacksonville Beach,
Neptune Beach and Atlantic Beach. The beaches have restaurants, shopping and
entertainment. When you come to Jacksonville, don't forget your bathing suit!

Sports

Sports lovers will enjoy Jacksonville's offerings of golf, soccer, tennis,
fishing, boating, hiking and water sports. If you're more of a fan than an
athlete, there are local professional teams for you to cheer for including the
Jacksonville Suns baseball team and the NFL's Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Oldest City

St. Augustine is America's oldest city. It is just 45 minutes from the UNF
campus. The Spanish colonized St. Augustine in 1574 giving the city the feel of
a small South American or European town. Today, small shops and cafés line the
cobble stone streets. Over 20 historical sights makes St. Augustine a favorite
place to spend a day or afternoon.
