Do I need to have a degree or teaching experience to apply?

Not necessarily. Both graduate and undergraduate students are eligible for the TEFL certificate, as well members of the general community who do not hold a college degree or teaching experience.  We ask that international students demonstrate a high level of English proficiency and/or a strong score on the iB-TOEFL test (minimum of 60), Institutional TOEFL (500), or IELTS (5.5).
