Reminder to Participate in Leadership Survey

Most of you receiving this newsletter were on a sample list of students recruited to take part in this year's MSL.

UNF is one of 80 institutions to participate in this year's Multi-Institutional Study of Leadership. The email invitation went to approximately 4,000 randomly selected UNF students, as well as some 825 students known to be involved in IVCL programming, including all students enrolled in the Leadership Certificate Program as of December 1, 2011.

If you are on the sample list, a final reminder was sent out Monday, April 2nd. Please look for it! The email subject heading will state "UNF Leadership Survey" and will come from Dr. Annabel Brooks. Thanks for your cooperation!

Spring Capstone Presentations Scheduled for the Week of April 9

Nine UNF students are on track to graduate this spring with their Leadership Certificate! They have scheduled the final requirement for the certificate, the Senior Capstone Presentations for the week of April 9.

The Capstone Presentation is a special occasion that grants students an opportunity to reflect and share their own leadership experiences with on-campus and off-campus leadership activities and events.

If you are graduating summer 2012 and are eligible for the Leadership Certificate, Capstone Orientations are

scheduled for Friday, June 8 from 1 – 1:45 in COEHS, Bldg. 57, Rm. 2608.

UNF Student Leadership Scholarship

IVCL would like to thank all students who applied for the UNF Student Leadership Scholarship  managed by UNF's Foundation Department. The chosen candidates will each be awarded a fall and spring scholarship equaling $2,000.

The Foundation Committee will be making the final decision soon.

Introduction to Leadership is the first step towards obtaining the Leadership Certificate. Summer registration starts April 7.

Distinguished Voices Lecture Series

On April 11, Michael Sandel will present "How to Think About Moral and Ethical Dilemmas in a Global Age".

Co-hosted by UNF and the World Affairs Council, this event is open to all UNF students by registering online.
