This fun and interactive workshop provides UNF students an opportunity to learn about the benefits and requirements of the inter-disciplinary Leadership Minor. The session is strategically scheduled in the days prior to registration to better inform students regarding classes they may need to take in the summer and/or fall terms. The session is open to all students, whether or not they have declared the leadership minor. The minor provides students  with important credentials documenting the intentional study and practice of leadership, providing an important "plus factor" in the job market and in applications to graduate school. Students will have the opportunity to ask clarifying questions during this one-hour, Q&A formatted session.  This session is offered again on Tuesday, March 31st. See below.

This year’s Student Leadership Summit ~ Leadership Presence: Recognize, Cultivate - OWN IT!, will challenge attendees to align their inner self with their outer life of action in this world. This event will emphasize the importance of today’s leaders identifying and developing their own “You-Nique” Signature Presence – an authentic and powerfully magnetic radiance that positively influences the behaviors of others.

This year’s Keynote speaker is James Scouller from the United Kingdom. Scouller is an accredited executive coach and author of The Three Levels of Leadership – a book that encourages leaders to embrace-master their leadership presence.

Scouller started The Scouller Partnership, a specialist executive coaching practice, in 2004 after eleven years as a CEO in USA and UK-owned multinationals and nearly 30 years in industry. He coaches both experienced and up-and-coming leaders – and executive teams – in multinationals and small private firms in Europe and the USA.

In his 3 hour interactive and engaging workshop, Scouller will guide Summit attendees in defining, identifying and cultivating their own individual leadership presence. If you are interested in viewing James Scouller’s presentation on leadership presence, you can find his videos on YouTube.
