Summer Intersession Housing Information
(April 26, 2013 – May 8, 2013)
What is Summer Intersession Housing?
Intersession Housing is the period between April 26, 2013 and May 8, 2013 that permits Spring 2013 residents, under certain conditions, to live on campus in their Summer A 2013 assignment.
If your schedule is not flexible (i.e., you have made travel plans or you have purchased plane tickets for a specific date) you may not be able to participate in Summer Intersession Housing. Please carefully review all of the information provided below.
Who is eligible to live on campus during Intersession?
Spring 2013 residents, who have a Summer A 2013 or Summer C 2013 housing contract AND have paid or deferred their Summer A rent, may request to live in their Summer A housing assignment for Summer Intersession.
New Summer A 2013 or Summer C 2013 students are not permitted to live on campus during Intersession.
How much does it cost to participate in Intersession?
Living On-Campus - $275.00
How do I sign-up for Summer Intersession Housing?
Residents requesting Summer Intersession Housing need to submit the Intersession Agreement no later than 12 noon on Friday, April 19, 2013.
When do I pay the Summer Intersession fee?
This fee must be paid no later than 12 noon on Friday, April 19, 2013. This fee cannot be deferred against spring or summer financial aid.
You will not be permitted to stay in your Summer A housing assignment until you are able to provide proof of payment for Summer A housing rent (receipt and/or a copy of your Summer A Pending Worksheet) and proof of payment of the Summer Intersession fee. The Summer Intersession fee must be paid in full to the Cashier's Office (during regular business hours) located in UNF Hall (Building 53) or on-line via myWings.
Living On Campus for Summer Intersession
Where will I live for Intersession?
Current residents who have a Spring 2013 assignment, a Summer A 2013 or Summer C 2013 housing contract, have paid or deferred their Summer A 2013 rent AND have paid the Summer Intersession fee will be live in their Summer A room assignment.
What is the Check-In process for Intersession?
The Central Housing Office will contact you no later than Friday, April 26, 2013 at 7pm to update you on the status of your Intersession/Summer A room. Since we are coordinating many room transfers, you must be available to move your belongings on Friday, April 26, 2013 and/or Saturday, April 27, 2013 when your Intersession/Summer A room is available.
If your schedule is not flexible (i.e., you have made travel plans or you have purchased plane tickets for a specific date) you may not be able to participate in Summer Intersession Housing.
