Resident Assistant Application Process
Application Steps
Step 1: Read through the RA Job Description
Step 2: Complete Online application on the Human Resource Jobs website.
Step 3: Upload your resume to the online application and be prepared to answer 3 essay questions.
Step 4: Provide the names and emails of two references for us to contact on your behalf on your application.
- One reference should be a current Housing and Residence
Life staff member (Resident Assistance, Residence Life Coordinator,
etc.)
- The other reference should be someone not related to the candidate (former employer, professor, etc.)
Housing Assignments
If hired to be a Resident Assistant, you must complete
the Housing Contract for the term you will be an RA. Housing Contracts
are for the full academic year (Fall and Spring) and are completely
separate from the RA Employment Contract. Be sure to read the Housing Contract for policies and cancellation details.
*Complete a housing contract if you intend to live on campus whether you become an RA or not.
