What happens after I submit my Fall 2013/Spring 2014 Online Housing Contract?

After we receive your Fall 2013/Spring 2014 Housing Contract, you will receive an e-mail outlining the Fall 2013/Spring 2014 Room Selection Process the week of February 25th.
Where can I get the Fall 2013/Spring 2014 Housing Contract?

The Fall 2013/Spring 2014 Online Housing Contract is available online at mywings.unf.edu. Click “Student Housing Contract” located under “Student Self Service” and then "Student Housing" on your myWings page.
When will Same Room Selection take place?

Same Room Selection will be available online from 9 a.m. on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 through 4 p.m. on Friday, March 1, 2013. Same Room Selection is available to all current residents of Osprey Fountains and Osprey Village only. Exclusions apply.
When will I receive my Roommate Pull-in password?

Students participating in the Online Room Selection Process (having submitted the Online Housing Contract) will receive their Roommate Pull-in password via e-mail beginning Monday, February 25, 2013. If you have not received your password by February 27, 2013, please contact the Central Housing Office at (904) 620-4663.
What is the difference between the Roommate Pull-in Password and my UNF N-number and password?

The Roommate Pull-in password is only used to allow others to “pull you in” as a roommate during the Online Room Selection Process. You will use your UNF N-number and password to log in to the Online Room Selection Process. The Roommate Pull-in Password was created so you would not have to share your UNF N-number and password.
If I participate in Same Room Selection, can I pull-in my friend(s) to be my roommate(s)?

If space is available (within that specific room) after Same Room Selection, your preferred roommate(s) may be pulled-in. Your preferred roommate(s) must have submitted a Fall 2013/Spring 2014 Online Housing Contract, have a zero balance with Housing and Residence Life, and be cleared by Housing and Residence Life Conduct to be eligible to participate.

NOTE: You must have your roommates(s) Roommate Pull-in password, in order to pull-in that individual(s). Housing and Residence Life will assume that you want to live together if the password has been shared.
If I selected my same room that I currently reside in, when can I pull-in a roommate(s)?

Roommate Pull-in is only available to students who have selected their same room during the allotted time for Same Room Selection and are pulling their contracted roommate(s) into their selected room (as space permits). Roommate Pull-in will be available online from 9 a.m. on Monday, March 4, 2013 through 4 p.m. on Tuesday, March 4, 2013.

NOTE: You must have your identified roommates(s) Roommate Pull-in Password in order to pull-in that individual(s). Housing and Residence Life will assume that you want to live together if the password has been shared.
When is General Room Selection with Roommate Pull-in?

General Room Selection with Roommate Pull-in will be available online from 9 a.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2013 through 4 p.m. on Monday, March 11, 2013. You must have confirmed your roommate(s) in order to participate. This is available to all students who have submitted a Fall 2013/Spring 2014 Online Housing Contract.

During General Room Selection with Roommate Pull-in, do I need to log in along with my selected roommate(s)?

During General Room Selection wtih Roommate Pull-in, only one student, with the Roommate Pull-in Password of an identified roommate(s) needs to log in and participate in the process. That one student will select a room, and then pull the identified roommate(s) using those identified roommate's Roommate Pull-in Password into any remaining spaces within the room.
When is General Room Selection?

General Room Selection will be available online from 9am on Wednesday, March 13, 2013. This process is for students who want to select any remaining spaces during the Room Selection Process.
Where can Returning Students live for Fall 2013/Spring 2014?

Returning students will be eligible to select a space in either of our upper-class housing areas, Osprey Fountains or Osprey Village.
Can I sign up for my same room for the Fall 2013/Spring 2014?

Any current resident in Osprey Fountains or Osprey Village can sign up for their same room, during the allotted time for Same Room Selection. Exclusions apply.
Can I select my own roommate(s)?

Yes, the Room Selection Process will allow you to pull-in a roommate(s) if they are eligible. You must have your roommate's Roommate Pull-in password, in order to pull-in that individual(s). Housing and Residence Life will assume that you want to live together if the usernames and passwords have been shared.
My roommate preference does not currently live on-campus. Can I pull in that roommate during the Online Room Selection Process?

Yes, if your preferred roommate is a current UNF student they must submit a Fall 2013/Spring 2014 Online Housing Contract and be cleared by Housing and Residence Life Conduct to be eligible to participate.
What if I don’t have a roommate selected for Fall 2013/Spring 2014?

If you do not have a roommate(s) for Fall 2013/Spring 2014, you will be able to select a room during the allotted time for General Room Selection.
If I submit a Fall 2013/Spring 2014 UNF Housing Contract and do not participate in the Online Room Selection process, what are my options?

If you do not select a room during the Online Room Selection Process, Housing and Residence Life will assign you to an available space on campus. Housing and Residence Life will make every effort to place you in your preferred area. However, if your preferred area is not available, you will be assigned to any available space.
How does General Room Selection work?

General Room Selection will be available online from 9am on Wednesday, March 13, 2013. Students who did not participate in Same Room Selection, Roommate Pull-in, or General Room Selection with Roommate Pull-in should participate in the General Room Selection.
How do I know if I’m eligible to participate in the Online Housing Sign-up and Room Selection Process?

You must be a current student at UNF or a current FSCJ student living on campus at UNF and must also attend UNF or FSCJ during Spring 2013, and be cleared by Housing and Residence Life Conduct.
Will there be private bedrooms available through the Online Sign-up and Room Selection Process?

Yes! Private bedrooms will be available in Osprey Fountains. Below are the costs per semester.
Osprey Fountains 1-Bed Private   -   $4740.00 per semester
Osprey Fountains 4-Bed Private   -   $3100.00 per semester
Osprey Fountains 6-Bed Private   -   $2890.00 per semester
If I don’t submit a Fall 2013/Spring 2014 Online Housing Contract, can I decide later that I want to live on-campus?

Yes. Please contact the Central Housing Office to discuss your UNF on-campus options.
What happens if I sign up for a room, but then decide I want a different room or I want to live with a different roommate(s)?

Once you go through the Online Housing Sign-up and Room Selection Process you will not be permitted to make any changes online. However, once the Room Selection Process ends, you may submit a Housing Assignment Change Request online through www.unf.edu/housing. All requests must be submitted through www.unf.edu/housing.
What if I sign up for a room, but decide before Fall Check-in that I don’t want to live on campus?

If you decide that you do not want to live on-campus, it is important that you review the Housing Contract Cancellation policy. You will be financially responsible for any Contract Cancellation fees. All Contract Cancellation Requests must be submitted online through www.unf.edu/housing.
