How to Pay: UNF Students

Payment by E-Check or Credit Card

You may pay all or a portion  of your rent with credit card or E-Check through your myWings  account by the deadline. This can be done using the following process:

  • Access your myWings account.
  • Enter student ID and password.
  • Select “Student”
  • Click on the box that says “View & Pay My Bill”
  • Click "Make a Payment" twice to view an itemized bill.
  • Select "Pay by Line Item"
  • Input the payment amount in the Housing box and complete the process
  • Print a copy of the receipt for your records.

Please note the following: Payment can be made by credit card for a 2.75 % non-refundable convenience fee. There is no additional fee if paying by e-check.

Florida Pre-Paid Housing

This method will cover the cost of a double occupancy air conditioned space approved by Florida Prepaid. This year, Florida Pre-Paid has approved the following room types:

Some of our rooms will not be covered totally by Florida Prepaid. If you are in a room other than one of the ones listed above, contact the Housing accountants to determine the additional amount you will need to pay. You will also need to authorize us to bill Florida Prepaid by submitting a copy of your current Florida Prepaid card by the Housing payment due date.

Financial Aid

Complete and submit a Housing Rent Deferment Request form found on the UNF Housing website. If upon completion, your calculations reflect a balance that is not covered by financial aid, you will need to pay that portion by the Housing payment due date. Every request submitted is reviewed by a Housing accountant. If there is a discrepancy you will be contacted and advised of the correction. Any balance owed can be paid on your myWings account following the steps above. The worksheet is only an estimate, so if your financial aid does not pay out as calculated, you may owe an additional amount for rent at that time.

A Housing Rent Deferment Request form has to be submitted every semester when using financial aid to pay for all or part of the rent. A late payment fee will be assessed on all rent not paid or deferred by the published Housing Due Date.
