Minors who are at least 17 years of age are permitted to live on campus, but must submit with their signed Housing Contract a "Minors in the Residence Halls" addendum, which outlines for the minor student and the student’s parents/guardians the shared understanding of how the University views the presence of minor students in the residence halls, and how UNF staff will approach certain issues, should they arise, in this adult environment.
Minors not yet 17 years of age are not permitted to reside in on-campus residence halls, but Housing and Residence Life will work with students and families on planning for on-campus housing at any point each semester in preparation for the student reaching 17 years of age. This includes arranging for a late check-in after each semester begins.
