Interfraternity Council (IFC)

About IFC

The mission of the Interfraternity Council is to develop men during college and prepare men for the rigors of life outside of college by providing a foundation for critical thinking through academic achievement, life-long camaraderie through fellowship, social responsibility through service to the community, and accountability through leadership.

If you should have any questions regarding recruitment, the eight IFC chapters on campus, or fraternity life, please feel free to visit us in Building 58 East, Room 2103.

Welcome from the President

Fellow Ospreys,

From the 7 Interfraternity Council (IFC) Chapters, welcome to our Greek community here at the University of North Florida. In my role as IFC President, I have the distinct privilege of working with some of the best leaders on our campus.  As our university continues to grow and develop so does our Greek community and that is where you come in.

Deciding to join a fraternity is an opportunity available to all and attempted by few. It is a choice that will do nothing but enhance your college experience. Each chapter possesses a unique personality, but they all share the same principles of developing leadership, excelling in scholarship, building fellowship and providing community service.

Use our website to gather as much information as you can in regards to our chapters, recruitment, news and current events and contact information for individual chapters or members of the IFC Executive Council. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me or any member of the IFC Executive Council.
