Faculty Exam Information

Disability Resource Center (DRC) staff members are excited to partner with you to ensure equal access for UNF students with disabilities. In anticipation of meeting needs of students, we offer the following options to faculty members with students who require extended time or distraction-reduced testing environments in the DRC.  When a student is enrolled in your class and he/she wishes to test at the DRC, the following process will take place:

The DRC is now utilizing an online portal, Clockwork, for faculty to view exam appointments made by their registered DRC students and to upload exam materials and instructions for testing. Faculty may also access the accommodations letters of each of their students registered at the DRC through this portal.  You will also receive an email reminder three (3) business days before the exam and another reminder the morning of the exam if the exam has not been submitted.  Please go to myWings (Faculty Tab>Faculty Tools>Clockwork) for access. To view tutorials for online test submission in Clockwork as well as how to view the accommodation letters of your students who are registered with us please see the resources below.  If you have questions regarding ClockWork testing applications, please contact the DRC Testing Coordinator at the DRC exams email account or by phone at (904) 620-2259.

In addition to online submission of exam materials, faculty may still drop off exams in person to the DRC Testing Coordinator’s Office. You will need to fill out an Exam Drop-off Form, available in our office, with instructions regarding the exam/quiz.  Please make sure your exams/tests are delivered to our office 48 hours in advance of the scheduled test. The exams can be hand delivered to the DRC (Building 57, Room 1500) or e-mailed to the DRC exams email account.

We sincerely appreciate your comments and suggestions on this process. These suggestions can be emailed to the DRC Exams email account or feel free to contact the DRC office at (904) 620-2769. *Please remember that we will no longer be able to store completed tests in our office after one week. The delivery options will remain the same i.e. scan and emailed, pick-up, etc. However, if you choose to pick up the test, please do so within a week of the scheduled test. All tests that have not been picked up within that week will be delivered by campus mail to a designee in your respective college dean’s office.

Methods of Exam Delivery:

You may submit the exam through the Faculty link for Clockwork, (Faculty Tab>Faculty Tools>Clockwork). Or you may include the exam in an e-mail as an attachment in Word or PDF optically character recognised scanned format and send it to drcexams@unf.eduYou may also bring the exam to the DRC office, (Building 57 Room 1500).

Methods of Exam Retrieval:

Students with Disabilities

Students with disabilities who seek reasonable accommodations in the classroom or other aspects of performing their coursework must first register with the UNF Disability Resource Center (DRC) located in Building 57, Room 1500.  DRC staff members work with students to obtain required documentation of disability and to identify appropriate accommodations as required by applicable disability laws including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). After receiving all necessary documentation, the DRC staff determines whether a student qualifies for services with the DRC and if so, the accommodations the student requires will be provided.  DRC staff then prepares a letter for the student to provide faculty advising them of approved accommodations. For further information, contact the DRC by phone (904) 620-2769, email (drc@unf.edu), or visit the DRC website (http://www.unf.edu/drc/).

Military and veteran students who return from combat exposure may be utilizing the post 9/11 GI bill to continue postsecondary education goals and may need both physical and academic accommodations.  Contact Ray Wikstrom, Director of Military and Veterans’ Resource Center by phone (904) 620-2655, email (ray.wikstrom@unf.edu).
