James Taylor has been with UNF since 2004 -first as a student then as an employee. While achieving a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, he studied a variety of topics revolving around the environment and sustainability with a focus on food and agriculture. Mr. Taylor has conducted undergraduate studies and presentations on food culture and university dining facilities. Before joining the Environmental Center’s team in 2011, he worked with Dr. Jeffry Will in the Northeast Florida Center for Community Initiatives where he conducted a variety of community based research projects.

John Boozer came to UNF after graduating from FSCJ in 2010. During his time at UNF, he became ever aware of environmental concerns in his private studies of energy, which motivated him to seek a job as a Student Assistant at the Environmental Center. After two years and many research projects later that surveyed other university systems, John, following a model from another college, pioneered the Environmental Dinner-Debate at UNF, which is hoped to become an annual occasion. John graduated in 2012 with a Bachelors of Arts in English, and currently serves the Environmental Center as its Administrative Assistant.
