Green Revolution1

The month of April is the first full month of spring, the month of Earth Day, the end of another school year and the beginning of summer break for students!. With so much going on, the UNF Environmental Center has organized a whole month of activities, talks and events that help bring focus to the impact we have both as individuals and as a university. As we move out and into another wonderful year at UNF, we should look back and see what we can do to reduce impact for the next year. Please join us at any (or all!) of our events, which are free and open to everyone.

Clothing Swap and Recycle Drive at Market Days

The conclusion of Green Revolution will be on the last Market Days of the year. On that day we will be having a clothing swap for students to get rid of closet clutter, without having to throw any items away. Also we will be collecting old tennis shoes to be recycled into running tracks, like the one in our new Wellness Center! Lastly, we are collecting any old or broken electronics (batteries, cell phones, iPods, etc.) to recycle.

Student, faculty and staff are encouraged to bring their items to the Market Days Event, but we will accept early donations at the Environmental Center (1/2200).
