Internships Opportunities

Conservancy of Southwest Florida

The Conservancy of Southwest Florida offers internships to help aspiring environmentalists gain valuable skills and training in specific areas of interest. Supporting careers in the field is a key part of The Conservancy's role as a steward for the environment.

Each year, The Conservancy places approximately 52 interns in various positions throughout the organization. Participants are recent college graduates or students completing university studies who wish to receive real-world, hands-on experience in environmental careers. A scholarship is awarded to the intern in the amount of $1,500 for every quarter (12 weeks) completed — equivalent to $125 per week of service. Optional FREE housing is also available.

You'll have a real impact on some of the biggest environmental problems we¹re facing today: Green Corps organizers have built the campaigns that helped keep the Arctic safe from drilling, that led to new laws that support clean, renewable energy, that convinced major corporations to stop dumping in our oceans and much, much more.
